Update:I no longer use the Xentec HID Kit. After time and a year of use they tend to act up. I now use LED bulbs you can pic up anywhere these days.

I jus bought a 06 cxl everything power auto lights and wind shield wipers heated seats leather ..only one lil slit in the driver seat all the other seats in great condition..paid 2k 190k on the dash..v6..nice lil car..wish I had the v8 and a sun roof but oh well

I just got a 2006 Buick Lucerne CXL (with the bench seating in the front) and I've been trying to see if doing this was even possible. Did you run a microphone anywhere in the car for handsfree calling or does your head unit have one built in?

Nice what color? I actually didn’t run the microphone. The cars factory Bluetooth still connects to my phone and my headunit has a microphone on it for the hands free.

Yea I got a 06 lucerne and I've been. Trying to find a damn head unit and the wire harness and its been Killing ..their are so many different ones says they will work but each one says it does this and that and I dnt know exactly what I need ..as for a head unit I was gonna get a double din but I have a single din in my truck and was gonna use that but I gotta get the single din dash kit man this is sum bs

Yooo this is perfect for me, I have a 2008 Buick Lucerne cxl, did the same thing everything’s good except for some reason installing backup camera caused my park assist to turn off.. did you have the same issue? Also do you plan on syncing radio to steering wheel?

No I did not have that problem my parking assist always work with did you hook your camera up to that could be causing interference no I do not plan on syncing the steering wheel controls until I change the head unit out. Won’t do that unless this one stops.

D.I.Y. DREAMING I got it worked on at a shop, the parking assist worked before I gave them my vehicle but not after.. also my chimes and turn signals dnt have sound anymore

These guys are trying to finesse me, I gave them 165 to put in the steering wheel module, I checked for my self.. no steering wheel module... headed up there now

Do I have to use the black chime box or it’s not a necessity

You can bypass it if you want to but that box does more than just make noise, it is the whole integration system for an aftermarket radio to work properly with the factory amp.
