Removing the Rear Bumper | 2014 - 2017 Mazda 6 | 2014 Modified Mazda 6

Today we are focusing on removing the rear bumper. This is in preparation of installing the LED Multifunction Rear Bumper lights. I couldn't find a video explaining how to do this so I figured I would create one.

Sounds like you have a tab not snapped it. It shouldn’t be any alignment adjustments. It just fits.

I am not sure, but I would think that the process would be similar. The 3&6 shares a lot of manufacturing designs

Will a 2014 bumper fit the 2017 ? Online some people sell 2014-16 not sure if the body style changes

Mazda did a bunch of weird stuff in 2016 and 2017 with the trims and stuff. The bodies were the same on the sport /‘d touring but the Grand Touring had different bumpers, headlights and tail lights and grills. The rear bumper from a 2014 may fit a 2017 sport or touring but I am not 100% sure.

Bro take care of these cars they are low maintenance, but will last if you do the maintenance and clean the valves im they hold there valve and are expansive to buy brand new Because of the new sky active Tech

@@user-yi2uv2rb7o I don’t ever plan on cleaning the valves, lol. I do a bunch of highway driving and I drive my car to redline regularly. The only people that have carbon buildup are the ones that drive like a old lady and do a bunch of in town driving. Mazda rerouted coolant passages away from the head so that it would get extra hot so that it would cook the carbon off the valves. A redline a day, keeps the carbon away.
