Oh, Lord! That's so satisfying. That might be my dream. IDK. Someone scrubing my entire body and I'm there chilling in warm water.

As a Korean who grew up in Korea, I do this every year like a ritual. Korean Scrub is a physical exfoliation that you can do by yourself with a dollar cost 때밀이 towel. Before scrubbing, make sure to soak yourself in warm to hot water for at least 30 mins to make dead skin softer. And never forget to moisturize after the scrub. ;)

I want to do this so bad! I’m half Korean but didn’t grow up around my culture but I do remember my Dad going on and on about how my mom would scrub her skin until raw. I think I inherited the scrubbing because I’ve been scrubbing with a body brush for years.

I literally just did one a couple hours ago -- and I did them before -- but this time, there was SOOOOO much dead skin that came OFF that I wanted to look it up to see if it was normal! Since I'm over 60, I thought my skin was just dry and aging, but after the Korean lady worked on me, my skin is so soft and fresh and not dry not oily -- it's just "plump" skin -- well-hydrated. I literally didn't know my skin could be like this again! It blew my mind... those little Italy-Korean scrubbers are key. PLUS I had an amazing Korean lady who did mine -- also in Los Angeles -- at the Century Spa on Olympic (a woman named Lee) -- and not only did she SCRUB me, but she gave me a massage and she found just the right places that had knots.... She was very intuitive! This was literally the best massage I've ever had -- and in case I've forgotten some other great ones, I still give it a 10+ out of 10!!!! Love this.... and also glad to hear the TONS of dead skin being scrubbed off is not abnormal.... though I didn't have that much the previous times I went around 3 or 4 years ago! By the way, Carly is super cute and adorable.... Great job!

As a Korean-American, I’ve never experienced an official Korean spa. However when I was a young child, my mother gave me a rough mesh towel to use in the shower with bar soap. I hated how harsh it felt and the redness of my skin afterwards. So needless to say as an adult, I use body scrub granules and body wash/ shower gels with a loofah instead. As the saying goes, “to each his/her own”.

This sounds awesome and afterwords her skin looks so smooth! I would love to try this but I'm not sure if they allow men. Moreover, if they dont allow men if there are any spas like this that do allow men. Ive never been to a spa is this normal spa stuff?

Hi Carly. 👋 WOW! You have the most beautiful presence about you! Very infectious. If you walked into a room i were in, i would want to come and talk with you. It's that magical quality that you've either 'got it, or you haven't'. It's also a very beautiful smile. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing, informative video. I loved it.❤

I think if I was going to do this I would do this at my own spa😉🥇🎉🙋🏻♀️🥰🥂 exfoliation but I do mines daily. I think if I was going to have anybody scrubbing me down I'd bring my own soap for sanitary purposes you wouldn't want the same soap used on everyone you don't know what kind of virus or bacteria anybody may have you have to be careful in these kind of situations to bring your own soap and just know the environment that you going in but this was beautiful seem like a lot of relaxation I'm glad she loves it, 🥰🙋🏻♀️🎉😉👌🏼💎

They use pump soap. No one can get inside the bottle. Plus, during the actual scrubbing part, no soap is used at all. Your skin is loose enough that the towel rubs it right off.

Why is everything getting labelled Korean? This is also called Hammam and found in many cultures in Eastern / Southern Europe & Western Asia, frankly everywhere. I've had this treatment in a Mosque in Paris.

Because she went to a spa owned by a Korean...? It's part of their culture as well and they call it jimjilbang. Their bathhouses are different than a Turkish hammam.
