Great visual with the paper. I also suggest 50/50 Isopropyl alcohol for vinyl or even OEM badging removal.

A wise man once told me don't make work for yourself. Enjoyed watching you install and remove vinyl from the mini. Not that I'm lazy but I can watch you work all day. Lol have fun Dave

Next time try to get off the remain adhesive with the vinyl (with the adhesive side). Just tap it where the glue was, and it will instantly take off the remains.

Hi Dave, I've just removed the glue from 31 year old gaffer tape which was left around the windows of my Nova Kit Car when they started leaking. The car's been stored in the garage all that time. The paint job is still surprisingly good so I didn't want to risk using acetone. After trying several 'off the shelf' solutions I ended up using a cheap 'bug & tar removal' spray over and over and over again. It worked, but it took a whole day! Your Mini looks so much better :)

Watched most of your videos on the Mini as was thinking of getting one. Ended up getting the new Fiat 500e and I’m smitten with it. Get decent range 170miles with I useable battery capacity of 37kw. Also gonna go on a Scottish road trip soon around the north coast John o groats area

Another thing I've found is that if the decals have been on for many years the rest of the paint will fade and you will be left with unfaded paint under the decals.

Hi, Im sort of new here and was wondering if the community can help me out. I’ve been watching all the Mini Cooper SE videos since I ordered mine in late May. Great job, love the no nonsense approach! I recently took delivery of my 2023 SE, we had one issue, the car was delivered with 206/45R17 High Performance summer tires but they’re not Run Flat tires. We had asked the salesman during the order and he confirmed by writing that the car came equipped with Run Flats. Now the dealer, sales manager and district sales manager is stating that they Neve deliver the Mini Cooper se with Runflats as it reduces the life span of the battery. The want me to sign a discharge releasing them of all responsibility related to the battery life. My question, has anyone taken delivery of a Mini SE equipped with Run Flat tires? How many KM can you achieve on a full charge? Any help would be appreciated. H
