REMUS EXHAUST & EIBACH SPRINGS for the M2 Competition with Motech Performance UK

Hey Guys
Welcome to another video where I take the M2 Competition to Mike and the team at ‪@MotechPerformance‬ for an overhaul.
We had a Remus Axle Back exhaust fitted with the exclusive black Motech Tips along with Eibach springs providing a lowering of 20mm all round and spacers to finish it off.
The work has transformed the look of the car and the exhaust has been a major improvement to the sound track!

What an amazing journey/evening.. I've enjoyed watching every one of your uploads. You should be immessly proud of your content. These little mods always make a nice subtle aesthetic improvement. Really want to get an exhaust for my OG or maybe just mod the stock one, still undecided. I’ve just picked up a brand new set of Eibach pro’s for a good price. I had the sport line ones on my RS3 and liked them. Picked up some 12mm spacers as well. My car is in at BMW tomorrow for them to re-access the leak on my diff so I’ll be fitting them Friday weather dependant, can’t wait!

Cheers for the view and comments. In my opinion the OG sounds great out of the box - but an aftermarket can and will defo open her open some more! Good luck with the new mods! 👍

@@Mac_F87 Yes chap but only until Saturday! I went onto Ohlins R&T Coilovers (Video on channel) - They went off for service and arrived back today!!! They are fine dude and have never left me down - very cost effective solution TBH

@@CarMadDad thanks for the reply. Nice one, mine will be a stop gap till I go for KW’s or similar. I was very tempted by Ohlins on my RS3 not overly expensive either, might give them a look for the M2.

Yeah they are awesome chap Serviceable item though every 16k - not ideal for a high mileage daily 😂

I have an Eisenmann on order for my M2C, just need to wait for it to be made. Also looking at spacers and springs.

Why the Remus system over the Akrapovic with carbon fibre tips ?? What’s the parts / labour costs of fitting the exhaust springs and spacers ? Great video 👍

Cheers for the comment Kevin. The honest answer here is purely cost. Under 50% of the cost for the Remus / Springs and spacers which came in fitted at approx £3,000. The Akrapovic system alone is £5,500 I think???

Visually the stance looks on point, it would be useful to hear how you’ve found it after a few weeks of daily use - is it more prone to bottoming out for instance? The exhaust certainly looks the part, I think you need to hear it in the flesh to make a judgement call. I’m guessing we’re nearing the thick end of £2k for that lot? Still, I’m tempted! Look forward to seeing more on the car as a fellow M2C owner. Cheers, Kevin.
