I used to have hair about as long as you had until I was... Like.. 16? Then I cut it shoulder length because I was honestly sick of eg wanting to get up out of bed and ripping my hair out because I was laying on top of it. Now I always cut it a little above my shoulder, let it grow out to about chest length and cut it again lol.

Its gonna be HOT hahaha.. Just do you research, don't be afraid to just wonder around but definately be prepared & know somethings to help you get around aka the train system, some simple phrases. The japanese is so freindly so don't worry it will be a blast!
