Wow, this is so cool, if you ride an e-bike for such a trip should be more exciting, you can choose a variety of ways to ride, when you are tired, you can just use the motor power to move forward, if you want to exercise when you can turn off the power as a normal e-bike ride.

A decent MTB (not BMX or skateboard) full face helmet is $100 The rest can be either substituted with non "bike" equipment, or ignored. For the average rider, you don't need to spend $600 on a helmet.
