Right at the beginning of the Vid look at the writing on the wall. It's the biggest clue where he's going with the song. It based on George Orwell's "Animal Farm" A satire based on the Russian Revolution. The writing on the wall are the 7 rules with Pigs help, the animals agreed on after taking over the farm from the Humans 😊

Yep Ren did all of the beatboxing and the beats. He said that this album (Sick Boi) is focused on his rap / hip hop. And he’s already starting to work on the next album that will be his singer/songwriter guitar/piano music. This time he wanted each to stand on their own, rather than do a hybrid of styles. I’m excited for both! The video is strongly influenced by George Orwell’s Animal Farm (on the wall at the beginning you will see lines from the book “Four legs good, two legs bad”), with a touch of Clockwork Orange and Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut. It was filmed in one take and he got about 70 of his friends to help out. In the description, he talks about the process.

Lot's of references to Animals Farm by Orwell but I also think there were some Clockwork Orange influences in there (white suit, cane etc) and of course the "dum-daa, dum-daa" and walk at the end remind me of Willy Wonka.

'animal skins, over my shoulders like bling, they will be clothing my sins...' damn the way he manipulates the pitch and volume in lockstep with the cadence changes... along with the slightly behind and pitched up harmonics ... d'damn Love the 'yumyumyum' in the pauses in the phrases after the nursery rhyme schemes I think if you haven't read Animal Farm AND watched A Clockwork Orange (the main influences I've found in this) you're going to miss some of the references and alliteration.

Bisecting Ren's brain may be too much of a challenge for normal human beings. Be careful and just use your imagination. Yes it's Animal Farm, one of my most favorite books I have read since I was 12 years old! I would love to be inside Ren's brain, for a few minutes, is that enough time? would I come back out myself again? Will Ren's brain explain my thoughts as well as his. I feel a commonality with him that sometimes scares me but mostly excites and thrills me. Ren is amazing, I always wondered also the mind of George Orwell from some of his books. When younger not much made sense now that I am older citizen, a lot more makes sense from my education and observation.

I don't think Ren is "radical" left, except maybe here in the U.S. where people think the Dems are left of center, but he for sure leans left, I mean this video, depending on who you ask was either based on, influenced by, or a tip of the hat to George Orwell's Animal Farm. With George Orwell himself being a staunch Socialist, who opposed and spoke out against McCarthyism and anti-communists propaganda in Europe and the U.S. But he realized how wrong communism could go too, in large part by watching Stalin rise to power. Which Animal Farm is an allegorical story, with villain of the story representing Stalin. Also when he says attack the capitol, I don't think he means a specific place or location, "the capitol" or capitol, especially in Europe, is the system, or wealth and power, relating to capitalism.
