Great reaction! I've heard this version a few times now, and think of it like a love song, in spite of (or because of) all the imperfections in the subject of the song - which makes the lyrics fit so well with the Bittersweet in the title.

I agree with everything you say! The stop in the song is AWESOME! Yup, it doesn't define you.. but I think things like that can define you in the way other percieve you, maybe? "Once an asshole always an asshole" kind of.. once you've gotten a label on you, it tends to stick, almost for life... And yeah, I relate to the feeling of how doing things at night seem a lot more free. No must-do's, no disturbances, no visits, no traffic... Ahhhh!

You're spot on. There is a balance in positive and negative, and our minds are designed to solve problems which means we are always on the lookout for problems. There are plenty to choose from, of course. But there is also as much to appreciate if we choose to focus on that.
