This was the chapter that broke me. I’d gotten through the previous ones surprisingly well, but that image of his mother singing to him as if he was a little kid sent tears rolling down my cheeks 😢 Luckily this was the toughest chapter and it starts getting better…

The hardest part watching this is knowing Ren's had a relapse and is back in the dark place. His latest posts are so sad because he's been giving us all hope, and now he's trying to find it for himself. At least this time he has an idea of the cause, he has doctors actually helping him, funds for treatments and more people to help him so he doesn't feel like he's a burden to his family. If you believe, he could probably use your prayers.

I agree, I'm a little more hopeful because the position he's in, with more support (mentally & financially) than before.

This one always gets me. I just break down every time I hear how his mom would cradle his head and sing to him. Watching the chapters really just shows why so many people have really let Ren into their hearts. The pain, the vulnerability, the humor, the hope.

This was the hardest one for me to listen to when it came out. It broke me. Pocket Full of Pain is such an impactful song.

Watching these again, I'm thankful Ren put these out in such a raw and matter of fact way. It makes me think of other mentally ill people I've met and what stage they are in, if there is a 2nd self that is hovering above them observing their crazy self and saying "Damn that's crazy" but not being able to do anything like Ren experienced. Our medical system needs to get better.

It’s like when you watch an epic movie with a hero you love, sure you know the hero may win at the end but it still hurts to see them suffer on the journey. Without the struggle tho, there would be no story, no beautiful end, and no need for a hero in the first place.

After listening to this chapter now you have a better idear of how thing are going for him right now, when Ren post that he is not doing well and that the treatment are long to produce some releaf and that he need some good vib to hold on, you understand that he is not talking about a stomhack burn or migraine type of pain.... when he post that he decide to releas his new music from his bed cuz he doesn't know when he'll feel better that give you a glips of what this man can endure, so yes he is actualy suffering and having hard time. Thank you for your reaction to my hero.

I think of the documentary more like an 8 mile style movie where b one day when he's really gotten through it all he plays himself.... and at the towards it's him recording hi ren and pans out to a million people in the crowd and he's on stage. Cuts All the Sick people in their rooms finding hope and I don't know how to capture the real depth of his reach... but I'm sure he could figure out how to!
