What a stunning rendition of this song, which never ends to move us listeners! It sounds and looks so heartfelt, grieving but gentle and merciful, full of sadness, but not despair, for there is also the sweetest pity and hope. Fleming's still the great legend of singing that she has been for over thirty years, and Kissin's piano playing is as amazing as ever.

@jesusislordsavior63434 жыл бұрын
Barry Island No, we should be repenting of our sins and turn to the ONE TRUE GOD, Who ALONE has authority to call off the pandemic------------------not to Mary the mother of Jesus. She was a woman of great faith, nevertheless she was a sinner like the rest of us. Jesus died for her as well as for the rest of us. Do not give in to the pious myth that she is some sort of 'goddess'. Therefore the text of this song is fit for the ash-heap. 'Mere religion' cannot save anyone from death, let alone hell. The same goes for 'art'. (1st Timothy 2:5) 'For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.'

In these difficult times, beauty is just what we need.
@jesusislordsavior63434 жыл бұрын
Simon Bailey Aesthetic beauty won't save anyone's life, or anyone's soul. (Romans 6:23) 'For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' The act of ultimate beauty came about in circumstances of immense ugliness. This was foreordained, and the contrast was very deliberate. (Romans 5:8) 'For God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.' Jesus was crucified, dead, buried, and rose on the third day, never to die again.

Jesus is Lord & Savior Maybe don’t push your religious views here. It’s quite inappropriate.
@jesusislordsavior63434 жыл бұрын
@@simonbailey8814 How so, given that the present crisis is a matter of life and death for many? Do you have no thought of eternity yourself? Do not expect that everyone else ought to be indifferent, if you are. Who is really demonstrating 'intolerance' here? WHO are you to determine what is 'appropriate'? Am I doing something which is illegal? Then alert the 'appropriate' authorities, quickly. Even if you consider what I do as 'amoral', that is your point of view, not THE TRUTH. I have every right to say what I consider 'appropriate' here, and you have every right to respond or to IGNORE it, as you choose. I am not impinging on your 'rights' of 'free speech', and I will not accept intimidation, that I would give up mine. What is 'religion' to you? I do not consider myself a 'religious' person. Whatever you regard as of greatest importance in life, whatever you trust in times of trouble, whatever you would defend to the death---------is that not your 'god', functionally speaking? It does not matter whether you believe in 'supernatural entities'------------you can still have a secular religion. Secular humanism is the predominant religion in my country. And I have run into quite a few people who are devout atheists, who proselytize on behalf of their godless religion. Finally, why are you worried about being 'pushed'? You are resisting, which is as I expected. You are pushing back. Isn't that what people do when there is conflict? I did not 'start' the conflict; it already existed within you. I happened to come along, and it was exposed. (John 3:19) 'This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.'

RMPsumma PRAY TO THE REAL GOD, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. (1st Timothy 2:5) 'For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.' There is NO mediatrix, only ONE MEDIATOR. Jesus effected mediation in HIS OWN BLOOD, 'for without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness' (see Hebrews 9:22). Whose Resurrection is it that we celebrate today (or tomorrow, depending on where you are)? Also bear in mind that Mary calls herself 'bondslave' in Luke 1:48. She knew her place. Why do so many people in a hurry to contradict her? How offended she would be if she knew what people were doing, ostensibly in her name, but really to please themselves. You want intercession. You can pray for yourself, people can pray for one another, and they can pray for the world-------------but in the name of CHRIST. That is the avenue which God has provided.

@jesusislordsavior63434 жыл бұрын
@@mmjhcb Please define 'fanaticism'. Is moderation in zeal for truth a good thing? Is it God's desire that we should wink at error in order to please others? Does God demand 'compromise' in all things? No wonder that the Roman Catholic church has a leader who has said that 'good atheists' can go to heaven. 1. Jesus said that 'no one is good but God alone.' 2. 'The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." ' Mr. Bergoglio is WRONG. And Mary had children by her husband Joseph AFTER giving birth to Jesus. Some of their names are given. See Mark 6:3. There is no need to avoid or explain away the obvious. I don't see very well, so it required a double take to confirm this. You speak of 'deaf eyes'. Yes, you do. Deaf eyes and ears. Then why not blind ears? Why not ears that cannot taste? Good show. That is what happens when one gets mad and does not proofread.
