No offense and even if taken, no offense meant really, but talent is just one factor. It's the effort, the hard work, hours, days, weeks, maybe even months of practicing, experimenting, you name it. Ren is a natural born hero, I agree, or at least it's my opinion. Whenever I explain my obsession with the chap, it kinda goes like this: Ren has led a life and still lives a life no one deserves and (this sounds strange) especially him not. But it taught him life lessons we could only dream of. That's what gives Ren depth and layers words cannot describe. He can sing (oh boy can he sing), play the guitar, bass but when busking (or whnever) his vibe, his inner rhythm, his own universe which is still accessible for his fellow players (rest of The Big Push, collabs, whatever) and then there's the brillance of his intelligence. The songs (and I cannot name one in which he at leasts hints about something) in which he's committed, like, when his opinion also plays a role, man, I cannot name one singer/songwriter or whatever at this moment who has it all the way Ren has it. And he's personal (I dig that) but also trendy, hip (I copy some of his styles, I'm not ashamed of that, I'm grateful) and at the top of this all, there's something about him. Just his smile, his kindness, when in another video he says goodbye to a little kid. I don't want to sound sentimenal but I know I already am. Ren. Is. The. Utmost. Best!

Which would be more terrible than words could ever hope to convey. Given what they did to Justin Bieber. Ever watch the music video yummy? Yeah, he showed in the only way he could what they did to him for years and years. People like him are what's for dinner for the powers that be. Odds are you probably didn't intend for your comment to go that deep. But it's still true all the same. Thank God to all that is sacred and holy that Ren did not end up like him. Thereby making all the terrible things he did go through a form of dodging the bullet that would have ended in a far worse way. Had he had been welcomed into the industry with open arms at a very young age. That said. Deep dweller passing through the darkest rabbit holes shall take my leave.
