Man my brother Ren has had that talent for a long time. Its really cool seeing these older videos after watching so many of his newer songs. From this time to now Ren went thru so much. Its really nice to see this but it breaks my heart to know what is coming for him. Keep fighting that fight Ren. You mean so much to so many people

It was probably around this time that the agent from Sony saw Ren busking and signed him up to Sony . I wish I could have whispered in young REN’s ear - that every thing will be alright just like Marley’s song . But it would take a while and he would have to go to hell and back but in the end he would be alright .

I believe he was actually using a technique for audience engagement. Singer/guitarists and buskers especially, rarely struggle with song selection.

Wow this is amazing - thanks for posting this. Guess Ren was about 21 here - to have that much confidence at such a tender age and the talent already blossoming, it's really no wonder he is turning heads around the world now. Gobsmacking even back then.

Ren is such a blessing and a breath of fresh air. His music has inspired so many people! It breaks my heart knowing soon after this he went through so much, thankfully he finally found the help he so desperately needed to get better. His music has touched so many lives, he has always had such talent and definitely a legend. Ren deserves nothing but the best❤!
