Totally agree, Ren can make a fantastic video by just walking down the street and rapping. You don't need a million dollars to make a dope rap video, just some awesome talent and a good camera man 😄 Shout out to Calgary, Alberta which is where this was filmed. Looks like a cold ass day in the video!

This track and your reaction just now helped me make up my mind. Earlier today before I even knew Ren had a new track out I was thinking about him while I worked and trying to decide whether or not I rated him. Almost every time I listen to him I hear others, Slick Rick, KIller Mike, Complete, Nas and more and I was trying to decide whether or not I thought while clearly talented, if he was just a top tier biter or really Hip Hop. To be clear I never questioned whether or not he or his music was any good, the man kills it, just whether it was genuinely HIM, and I am very pleased to feel good that it is him, and he is it, he just wears his influences on his sleeve.

As usual great reaction! Be on the lookout for info about Ren. He said in the chat for the premier of this that sometime in the future he will be moving to LA for some music production. Said he'd love to busk on Venice Beach so you may get that wish to see him live!

Your point about Ren filming on the street is so right on point. Ren is placing himself on the same street that we all know, marking himself as one of us, whilst at the same time inviting us to imagine how awesomely different he is. Who else could do what Ren does? No-one except Ren. [That's why all those other guys use those "distractions" you mentioned.]

Truth on the review. OG beat and the lyrics and location are fire 🔥. I’m going to be heading to London in early June to see the Philadelphia Phillies play with my son. I sent him a message on Instagram wondering if he would be in country and performing anywhere as I would love to be able to see him play live. One can hope!!!! 🤔🤔

I love REN’s “low budget” videos. Nothing to distract from the artist. Thanks again for your love of Ren❤❤❤. Love your channel!! I love that Ren is a true artist from vocals to instruments, mixing his own music and his empathy for others. A lot of new “artist” never picked up an instrument. Damn I love him.
