So true. Massive hip hop head since time, mostly from golden era mid 90s to 2010s, and Sick Boi easily up there with the best albums, certainly not out of place. Highly original and innovative underground flavour from Ren. Last European hip hop artists I loved this much were Pete Philly & Perquisite from NL, and Supersci from Sweden. I'm also reminded of amazing underground US artists like Blu, Himalayan Project and CYNE. Check them out!

I want to write about Ren’s influence on me. I've had psychotic episodes like Ren, but I don't have Lyme disease, I'm schizoaffective. Ren’s songs give me so much hope, and I feel heard through his music. I would call him the patron saint of all people who are mentally or physically ill, but he is human, which makes it even more amazing that he can influence so many people and give hope to them. Psychosis can be very devastating to cognitive abilities and can also shatter one's understanding of their own personality. That's also why I'm so impressed about Ren's skills with making music at this level, a level which I find to be ingenious to describe it in one word. I love what you do Ren, and there are many others who feel like me. I hope you continue to feel much better. But don't stress about us too much, live mostly for yourself, I would say. And still, I wish so much to see you perform live someday in Finland. All the best!

4D Chess not Checkers. I saw a great quote from a renegade that Ren was playing 4d chess while others were paying checkers and even the reactors were missing that. I can see two good examples for this in the Halftime retake 1) at 1.07 Ren spits his pirate scheme and "Wavy Guy ".. Kid Wave was the first MC name used by Nas before he became Nasty Nas. 2) at 1.22 he goes into the Oppenheimer scheme of diamonds neutrons and atoms etc.... Why? could it be because the original beat used by Nas for Halftime was sampled from an earlier rap album called 'Breaking Atoms' ? Now that's 4D Chess playing rap and mind-blowing!

Its about experiments spiting peoples brains for epilepsy. The interesting thing is, after, there was "someone" else in control of the left hand and could be interacted with. It seems we have many different "individuals" in our heads, and based on "who" we listen to (our inner thought) is what action we take. We think its always "us", but the evidence suggests our brain is full of different consciousnesses. Or, you are really tapping into what we cant see. Our brains are only programed to see what is needed to survive, not all that is truly surrounding us. Our brains have no need to see what is not imperative to survival. So our resources for brain development go to only seeing color, movement, smell and such. But we are surrounded by the unknown.
