Ren also said the pig also symbolizes the destructive always present nature of his illlness. And at some point he said the other animal masks call back to his hallucinations when he was really sick

I have heard that the pig also represents a dark presence that's always with him, one that is both menacing and yet also comforting in its familiarity. He compared it to the rabbit in Donnie Darko. The other animals, I've only heard him reference Animal Farm because he's a huge Wells fan. You can find that in the Zach Sang interview. If you want just the clip of him talking about the pig/animal masks, you can search up, "Ren pig mask zach sang" and the first video result should be 5 or so minute clip from that interview, though the whole thing is worth a watch.

You can find Ren talking about the pig mask with Zach Sang. Search up zach sang Ren pig mask (of some variation of that phrase) and you should get the portion of the video where he speaks about the masks and its multiple meanings. I don't know about the other animal masks being part of his psychosis. It must have been in a different interview. I've only ever heard him mention them in the context of Wells/Animal Farm.

I'm not sure about his education, I think he started some musical/performance arts high school but I'm not sure if he finished it. He got into busking and music as a very young lad, I don't have a feeling that he paid much attention to school :) But that kind of smart doesn't neccessarily mean some high degree of education. You have to love the language, explore it, use it, and above all, you have to read. Read a lot of different books and you will learn.

He was at Bath university studying music but had to drop out cos of his health, I think before he'd done a year. I don't think they'd be able to teach him much😅

In an interview he said that he understood the education system in the way that most of the time you have to just memorise everything, so he did that and was actually very good at school except his behaviour 😆 Practising in memorising things helped him with lyrics and this album where he had to rap which was out of his comfort zone.
