I love the empathy you bring and the thoughtful commentary. Ren composed all the music forbrhis video (part of the intro though was Grieg). Ren is always thought provoking. He did win awards for Best Music Video and one for Best Director along with Sam. I hope you will ignore any criticism in the comments about syncing up, you know what you're doing❤💜💙.

He mentions Jimmy so I think it is loosely based on John McAfree. Who was a young prodigy and started a cyber security program and became extremely wealthy early in his life. And then turned to a life of crime and drugs. But, he never got into politics that I know of. So I think he didn't want it to be base on a real person so it connects to more people. The song works better when the person can be anybody.

Nice reaction Freya, I like the fact you have followed the MG trilogy and got Ren's messaging. I have to say while you have nailed the sound level and graphics for the music video, (better than some I have seen) it would seem your camera and mic in particular are letting you down, if you are using a laptop it may be it's memory is struggling to manage the process, giving us a voice lag and some visual ghosting. I am no expert but someone may give you some kind advice. Please don't get disheartened, it may be something quite simple to fix. Just reach out for advice. Take care. Thank you and OH YES -- Do I ever get "advice!" lol Yeah, I don't have great equipment, set-up, or software programs right now. I quite literally am using the free versions of everything which I guess get the job done but, I do want to improve the quality. I was recently able to make one upgrade to max out my RAM so, the lagging is actually a lot better. But I appreciate some support around this. I don't make money on these videos, there's about 2--3 of work that goes in before they ever see KZbin -- and I'm not trying to say poor me -- I'm just trying to say -- its free for y'all so, if it's really that bothersome, folks can actually support/contribute to the channel so I can make upgrades OR, not watch if it soooo bothersome.

You still haven't worked out how to get your voice sync'd up with your camara I see. Seems to me that the editing software should be able to straighten that out.

@@FreyaReacts Then how do you explain all the other reaction channels who manage to keep ever thing in sync. Instead of being so confidently wrong, why not reach out to other channel creators who have been doing this kind of content for much longer to help flatten the learning curve you're going thru. Sorry if this sounds too blunt, but that dismissive "Nope" at the start of your comment sucked all the compassion and patients right out of me. 🤦‍♂

At this video Sam wasn´t behind the camera himself he was the director...for that video the first time they had a bigger budget so staff + stuff was hired including a camera man + profi film equipment+ lightning equipment and a set was build in that rented empty farmer´s big barn or stable where the shoot took place and Sam was in charge for all of that and then directed + monitored the video shoot
