This was shot in one shot, but I think the final one you see here was about the 117th take or something. It’s a true work of art. I think the guy in the chair is a representative of the money game. He kind of represents the evil and hypocrisy that is at the root of it. At the end, Ren cuts eye holes in mask, and it allows this guy to see the wrong he is doing. Ren is going to douse him in gas and stops when he realizes that he too is victim to the money game and is also to blame for the problems it has caused. So, Ren now feels guilt instead of just anger and decides to pour the gasoline on himself instead. The facts are that not one of us can sit here and say we aren’t in some way to blame for the issues that are situated around money, power, greed, corruption, etc.

There are Ren videos out there that are one takes. That took hundreds of reshoots. Like.. 800. From what I've heard, they managed Hi Ren in just 4 takes.

A little perspective (as I see it) Ren ="The establishment" protected by the poncho as it rains, but there's a *storm* coming. . Sets the scene while "We " play along, blind and obeying orders (that's Romain btw) Head covered by a moneybag! . (Donald Trump interlude... Border, immigration, hate speech, etc... composed in 2019? Some have trouble with that part!) . Reference to Politicians *not* being in control ("there's no "Left", there's no "Right", in the middle *we* sleep". The colour of the tie doesn't matter, as long as the "other guy" is the "bad guy" and they keep us opposing each other their "political club" is safe) . Then, "We" (the population) gain awareness (Eyes) and we see the system. . Something has to give. Either those in control "burn" us, or the protection (poncho) is removed, the "storm" arrives and the system "burns" (Revolution)
