At 72years of age I sometimes take a little while to understand Rens word as he is so fast. but you make understanding him a lot easier for me. Every since you mentioned "reflection" is a mandatory element in Rap... ive been paying closer attention to lyrics! Its easy to hear those who BS their way thru a song! After watching Rens 8 chapter's... you can easily tell from ALL his songs... hes writing about his actual life experiences! Im guessing thats what makes him such an awesome lyricists!!! Plus... based on alot of his older works... he not only reflects on his life, but was also experimenting with different styles of music! Making him today... an Excellent artists with No genre boundaries! Like his songs Losing it, Fire, Ocean and Ready for You, to name a few of my favorites... hes reflecting while educating himself with music as a teacher! That makes a True artist if ya ask me!!!

I always look forward to your Ren reactions, props on another great one!! You know this was the final chapter, or summery, to an 8 chapter story of his sickness, the first 7 chapters were just Ren telling the story from his apt., he released one a day. The acoustic version of this is also spectacular. He and his homies in a car driving thru Calgary. If Ren does an official and an acoustic/live version, they are very different takes and brings a new appreciation for his work. If you haven't yet, The Chapters (Ren Went Missing) were the run up to this video. It's an amazing look into the life of Ren so far.
