Can’t recommend Hi Ren enough. It’s what made the world fall in love with Ren! Great reaction btw 😊 edit. Most of Ren’s music videos are live and usually a one take. He writes and produces all his songs. It’s honestly worth going down the Ren rabbit hole and reading the renegades comments to learn more about our boy. Impressive doesn’t even broach the right word for him ❤

@d.francis1981 Ren references Nate Dog in at least one of his livestreams - which are a different kind of trip from the music videos. When he jams on them it's like watching a human jukebox set on shuffle. 😄

Amazing reaction, truly. Super satisfying, and you took me with you all the way on your emotional journey even though I've seen this so many times now. I also recognize entirely how your laughter in spots is one of incredulity at the sheer creativity and talent of Ren (and Sam, running the camera so, so masterfully), and I feel it, too. You asked for recommendations, and here's a suggested order I have written before and shared with some other reactors, slightly updated (and leaving this one out only because you've already seen it): 1. Hi Ren ...take a break and learn about Ren's history, including illness and some other tragedies... 2. Sick Boi 3. The Hunger 4. The Tales (i.e. The Tale of Jenny and Screech. It's three videos but watch the one that rolls them all up in order: Jenny, Screech, and Violet. Watch all three, no subtitles) 5. Losing It (Fisher Rap Retake) 6. Chalk Outlines LIVE (with Chinchilla) 7. Money Game 1, 2, and 3 (I think I remember you saying you already did this, but including just in case) 8. and 9. watch Murderer and Animal Flow in either order you want, but after you watch Murderer look up his live performance of the same song and you'll just feel great 10. Su!cIde 11. Watch Ren's 30-minute video explaining the Sick Boi/Kujo Beats situation 12. THEN AND ONLY THEN watch Kujo Beat Down 13. Continue with the rest of his amazing catalogue (there is *a lot*, like a lot alot) and be sure to also look up The Big Push, even more incredible stuff

'Hi Ren' is a must next watch! Ren is amazing and you'll say the same thing each time thinking it couldn't get better. Sam, the cameraman, is about it when it comes to his craft as well for sure! When it comes to Ren nothing is on accident, and yes everything has a purpose. Yes, Ren also loves his one takes. "Rewind the hands of time for Violet's Tale" proceeds to rewind time via a cool guitar rift (later in reverse to say you are caught up) and you didn't notice, sad face. This one you got lucky with the subtitles but for Hi Ren they get a lot wrong. You do miss a lot of the acting when you are constantly reading as well. We all need info differently if it's a must for you as I just found you. I'm unsure and am just trying to help. Although from a viewer's perspective, that's a huge step back to all the other greatness of this reaction. I'm glad the ending plot bomb wasn't spoiled the way the subtitles were. A plus that you were watching him at the right time. Glad you caught the generational trauma passed down, not many put that together right away. Looking forward to your journey down the Ren rabbit hole.

It’s a great story to show how trauma is passed on through generations. Violet was abused so she gets into an abusive relationship because she doesn’t know any better. She does and her kids go into care and get separated…

Ren is a modern day bard painting such vivid imagery with his storytelling that it pulls you in and forces you to keep watching - even when it gets physically uncomfortable during Violet’s Tale. And Ren uses this ability to shed light on far too real issues in the world. Ren is special.

Hi Ren is, imo is his main masterpiece, but his work is so amazing that views differ on that. His range of work is really diverse and after or before Hi Ren, you need to check out his different stuff. Power, Murderer, Genisis. There's just so much. I haven't even mentioned another piece. Money Game 1, 2 and 3.

Great react! You should check out something lighter like power, back on 74, or like maybe go through the love musics 1-4, something to cleanse the pallet a little bit! Lol there are happy songs and sad songs and everything in between. If you don’t mix it up it may get a bit heavy. Lol

Im in my 50's and i just love Ren. There is just a handful of true gifted artists, like prince, MJ, Reba, Charlie Daniels, Ronnie Radke and Ren. They do things with music thats simply amazing. I love how the love of music shines so bright in everything Ren does. Check out his busking videos. They are amazing

If you like Ren's music, then you must get what he's trying to say in his music, especially money game 2 & 3. You started wit Money Ties, now the tales. i recommend "sick boi" next, so you get a glimps of what happened to Ren and the link to Kujo. Then: Hi Ren! The choice is great from there: Rap rap: The Hunger, Genesis .... Fun rap: Losing it, Down on the beat (ft Viktus) "illest of our time" Depth: Chalk outlines (with Chinchilla Money game pt 1, 2 (lyric vid) and 3 Etc. .... I'm 50 yrs young, never been touched by an artist that hard ...NEVER.
