Ren had Undiagnosed Lyme disease for 7 years before he was correctly diagnosed and by then much physical damage was done. He will live with this in spite of extensive treatment. He speaks fir those withchronic physical and mental illness.

You're right, super vibe to this, many of his songs reference his struggles but non IMO more so than this one. It samples Troubles so Hard original version by Vera Hall, a song that's influenced him strongly. There is a You Tube video of Ren busking that song. I was lucky to see him at the Secret Garden Party around 10 days ago, his first proper concert in 5 years, I was blown away. I, and many, have uploaded a video from there. Keep going down the rabbit hole, everything he does is different, include his band The Big Push!

Like Led Zeppelin, practically every Ren song is different, and when they're not, they're usually part of an overall suite of songs (Tale of Jenny and Screech, Money Game, for instance).

Just saw your fear factory reaction. I love that band. If you enjoy their music you should check out (Zero Signal) or (Archetype) or ( Dark bodies) that band has got some kick ass tunes. Ren went years misdiagnosed with bi polar chronic fatigue syndrome they had him on meds that caused him to have psychosis he got PTSD Too but not from the meds he had a recording deal with Sony why working on his album he got sick and couldn't finish it so they parted ways he move back too Wales he would become bedridden for up 23hours a day it would take years before he would get right diagnosis he has Lyme disease he went so long misdiagnosed that he has Brain damage Organ damage Joint damage he been in Canada past 2 years getting treatment he had to have IV 5 days a week they put this thing on his head that help open path ways in his brain he also has Mast cell activation syndrome he can only eat a few things because his body has allergic reaction to just about everything he eats he has ADHD too
