😂 I love that y'all did this, it gives even more context to how really angry Ren was when he did Kujo Beat Down. For context, at this point, Ren had very recently become a worldwide viral artist, and literally everything he dropped following Hi Ren was 🔥, and the Premieres were events in their own right, with thousands of people posting up to chat with Ren during each drop. Ren reactions were dropping within the hour following each Premiere. The insane momentum of this hidden gem of talent with a compelling backstory and a positive message, an artist who'd been fighting to be heard, and had the skill, drive, and message to captivate a tremendous following. Ren had just passed his million sub marker, and was well on his way to his first #1 album, Sick Boi, with a ride or die fanbase built through word of mouth - no concerts due to his health issues, no corporate giant to push him out there, no corporate-created image of what analytics thinks an "artist" should be. King Dotta's diss came out of left field. There was nothing that provoked it, in fact most people only knew it happened because Ren publicly addressed it. We'd never seen anything other than this incredible artist that just wants to get his music and message out while fighting a debilitating condition, so there was a lot of nervous excitement to see how he'd do. The vast majority of his audience didn't know what battle rap really was, other than being really aggressive and far outside of what we'd ever seen from Ren. When Ren came through and did really well with the diss part, everyone was amazed and were charged up because our guy showed up, stepped to the mark, and killed it. But when he flipped it, we saw the Ren we all knew again, and we were all reminded of why we all loved Ren and what he's doing. There are many reactions to Ren's diss out there where this change in energy brought reactors to literal tears. It was a reminder that we all wanted something more positive in this world, and that we didn't necessarily have to tear down to build up. Its wild y'all started your Ren journey with Kujo Beat Down, but I've lived every second of the ride. Shout out TDIP, Shout out Renegades. Much respect & love out to everyone that's a part of this. 🫡❤️

Great job giving them a breakdown DB! This truly did come out of nowhere for the entire community AND Ren. Ren had never said anything bad about King Dotta nor had known his work PRIOR to King Dotta coming out with this track, but Ren realised Dotta's potential and decided to use the opportunity to raise himself AND Dotta up in a single track. That's true diss culture right there. They might have had 'beef', but they handled it like gentlemen and came to become good friends in the end. As DB stated, it's why the KujoBeats situation is so frustrating and almost incomprehensible to everyone. Ren, even to his critics and 'enemies', is such a generous, giving, and lifting person. He acknowledges when he's made mistakes and listens to criticism and then uses that as fuel to do better, be better, increase his creativity and craft, and put everyone else on a pedestal. Whatever the situation was, doesn't matter. Ren and Dotta handled it like real men and they are friends. Can't say the same for Kujo. Bollocks on Kujo.

I believe Ren wanted two things by doing this. First, he'd never done battle rap and wanted to try and second, and more importantly I think, he wanted to address the racial division Dotta threw at him. Another point, in the lead up to Ren's track, his fans were tearing up Dotta's skills and music and I think Ren recognised, as you guys did, that Dotta isn't bad. Ren adores good rapping and I can imagine him reading some of his own fans comments calling Dotta trash and Ren just shaking his head.

I think Ren agreed to this battle for a few specific reasons: 1) to test his pen game, 2) to have some fun, 3) to make points about the cultural divides that he takes issues with. After the battle, Dotta gave Ren a lot of respect and has done some Ren reactions - they are great! As for how it started, Dotta was stirring up a lot of drama in comment sections and the Michelle Show was pouring fuel on the fire 🔥 Knox Hill was trying to just ignore it all, since he just thinks Dotta was klout chasing, but when Knox decided to enter the ring, he threw some punches at Dotta 💥 🥊 After which, Ren asked Knox, “how do you kill somebody who is already dead?” 😹 So that explains the intro. I think Ren was hoping Dotta would come after him a little harder, but as you pointed out, there wasn’t bad blood between them - just a battle rap sparring match. MichelleShow is a total hater, but Ren has even managed to win him over. I would HIGHLY recommend watching MichelleShow’s reaction to Ren Sick Boi 😹😹😹 It’s a classic.

Michelle is great! He is a hater but a lot of it is purely for comedy value. If he's hating on someone but he's impressed, he'll be the first to say it - it's just he doesn't hold back if he really doesn't like something whilst the majority of reaction channels just don't post the videos of stuff they don't like. He's clearly become a fan of BP and started to understand the Ren hype once he got more of a grasp over what he's about rather than just hearing the opening couple minutes of Hi-Ren

It started about a Knoxhill track that mentioned a boggieman and somehow Dotta made that a Diss Knox wasnt going to reply but Dotta then dragged Ren in. So Knoxhill repplied twice (great fun) Then Ren put the bow on it.
@CrazzyWarrior9 сағат бұрын
This was an agreed on battle between Ren and Dotta. The catalyst to this is when Knox Hill Dropped his Killshot Remix. In it there was the line that was like Yatta doda or something like that. Michell Show kinda spawned the misunderstanding by giving it the notion of dissing Dotta. Dotta had been trying to get a battle rap with Knox and several others for a while. So Dotta then releases Crown(Knox Hill Diss). Knox has no idea about this or who he even is. This annoys dotta. And he spergs out about Knox dissing him then wont respond to his diss. Ren saw this and decided to poke the bear (as he sad in a live stream) because he knew that Dotta would respond to it and challenge him. As expected. So Ren agrees to do a battle rap, saying to drop whenever he was ready, but did ask for it to be after Murderer dropped as it was already scheduled and he didn't want to detract from it or people to think Ren wouldn't respond to Dotta. Part of the "terms" for the battle was to do it in one take, Dotta misunderstood this to mean no editing. But also said he cant do it without his lyrics, and asks if he could at least use his phone for them. Ren had actually meant just to go at it as he had done in a core battle rap style. Dotta did agree to wait and after Murderer came out he did drop Kingdom Come(Ren Diss). In this Dotta couldn't help but double down and toss more shots at Knox. Knox and Ren have gotten close and this finally got his attention so Knox fired back. He released Stan remix(Knox Hill Diss). He had said that he had wanted to do a track with the beat for a while and this was a good chance to do it and show off his skills with battle, he came from battle rap originally. Then 24 hours later with no reply from dotta he drops a second track, Patiently Waiting, which was on the beat that Dotta used in his Crown track, before he switched up the beat in the middle. Ren had been delayed to respond to him due to his doctor and medical situation. To Dottas credit, he was fine with that, understanding and wasn't going to hold his delay against him, saying he was more about the bars then the quick response(part of why he wasn't going to respond to Knox right away, he needs time to write, has not exactly quick with his pen it would seem.) Finally Ren was able to respond and drops his video for Dumb King Come(King Dotta Diss). One of the best parts to me is that Dotta said he cracked up when Ren had got to the line about putting the cake down, as he had said he in fact had had cake for breakfast that morning. After this drops, Dotta says hes not going to respond to Ren and they were cool(I mean how could you respond after that. But that he was not done with Knox and he did drop like 3 or 4 tracks as disses at Knox, but Knox was done with it. Knox had shown what he can do with battle rap but its not what he wants to do. He liked to follow Ren's approach of building people up rather then destroy. Ren follows the idea of A Rising Tide Lifts All Ships. In dottas tracks, he had some bars, but he was nowhere near the level of Knox or Ren, and stood no chance in my opinion. But this was fun to see Ren expanding his skills in even more directions! Final note, Michell Show is a hater and he does remain true to his style. I don't care for him much. But I will say he has given props to Ren in this, and his reaction to Rens diss when the shots at him come up are great. Best part in it all. But he has said he has no real issues with Ren. He actually has dropped a track called White Room Freestyle. Where he was going after some others, but in it he did take a slight shot at Ren, but admitted himself that it was light, he could have done harder but there was no need as they were cool and had talked some behind the scenes. I love the way this had gone and thus why i followed it closely. I would love to do a video that actually layed out the entire situation, but i don't know how right now, and don't have time right now to actually learn the video editing stuff, but maybe someday I can. For now, i can just try to correct/inform people on what actually was going on with the sides.

Ren knew Dotta needed subscribers that's why he he wanted his fans to subscribe too Dotta who really needed help. Ren is well respected for doing so I think they were friends before this. Dotta has such respect for Ren and the talent he has.This video is great! you'll never know what Ren is going too do. lol

Love that you were neutral 😊Ren was killing 3 birds with one stone. He did the diss battle rap style and had some good bars and punchlines directly to and about Dotta. Then he did his "Rising Tides Lifts all Ships" philosophy. Then, very important to Ren, he got out a message that he's very passionate about. Racism, the division in society and the loss of community. ❤😊

Dotta wanted attention, he got it. They are friendly now, in fact he mentioned the Dotta diss in the Kujo beatdown, saying they are friends. Ren says he is not a battle rapper, but he does like to rap.

Shower disses, that´d make for an interesting sub-genre.

If you want to see Ren do a dis for reals, watch Ren's Kujo beat down video.

Ren did a Ren thing. In the end part, he points out what is important to him. He was intentional in addressing the divisiveness of Dotta's comments/tweets. He also sincerely liked Dotta's work and gave it respect and the attention of his fan base. Ren seems to try to do what he thinks is good. In an interview months later, Ren said he choose to respond to Dotta to purposely do what he did here. - Loved the crisp's bag stuff, you two should use that as a name for a music production label. :)

It's just the way Ren is. Rising tide for all. Even your own channel. KujoBeats the only one that we know of where Ren has had to truly vent. Although I'm sure there are some doctors that aren't on his Xmas list too.

We agree in a real battle. But Ren is all about lifting people 😊
