glad that they liked this because I’m pretty sure they made a couple comments about female idol rappers being better than the males which isn’t entirely unfair to say from what they’ve seen but I never agreed because BTS easily have 3 of the best rappers in kpop and it’d be a disservice to leave them out of the conversation + unlike some groups they’ve reacted to, they actually write their own raps which is relevant when talking about rap skills.

I love Stray Kids which are also "noisy" so to speak, and I would say them and Ateez are quite similar but there's one thing I really dislike with some of the Ateez songs and that's the use of autotune - it's too much for me especially in this song. The song Work and the newer song Ice on my Teeth are more enjoyable in that sense.

BTS has 3 rappers, RM, J Hope and Suga (Agust D), all have solo projects (as do all 7 BTS members) and all different to each other. For Suga (Agust D), I would recommend Daechwita, Haegum and Amygdala (trilogy). For RM to get a flavour, Groin, Flowerwork, Domodachi (with Little Simz) and Nuts. For J Hope Arson, More and Hope on the Street (with J Cole). For the 3 rappers together, I would suggest Outro Tear (live at Wembley) and Ugh (live). You have to use subtitles to read the lyrics as they are very important in all BTS songs. BTS debuted in 2013 and are not the biggest band worldwide, with a fandom (Army) of around 100 million. They sold out Wembley stadium in their last world tour for 2 nights within an hour of tickets being released. They also sold out stadiums in 14 countries globally, just to give you an idea of their reach. They have collaborated with many western artists, in addition or course to many eastern artists. Among the west, there are (including group and solo work): Usher, Halsey, J Cole, Coldplay, Sia, Nicki Minaj, Charlie Puth, Steve Aoki, Anderson Paak, Wale, Warren G, Fall Out Boy, Lil Nas X plus more. They have a back catalogue of about 500 songs, so a lot to choose from. BTS has been undertaking their mandatory military service over the last couple of years and will all finally be discharged by June 2025, when they will be back as a group. Jin and J Hope are the only 2 who have been discharged at this time and Suga is the last towards the end of June 2025.
