There is a plan To call all true men to make a stand Now's the time Now is the time Shine the light Upon the streets we live and breathe Change is near And we'll all control High flying soothsayers lay greed to rest So where we go from here is the quest Cry to the world Our children's world Your hearts will learn To live again Cry to the world Our children's world We will count The days and nights our gypsy friends Foretold our lives All freedom smiles Walking proud Holding fast to strangers hands Can you hear Many bells will ring Within a voice will echo life's sweetest sounds And words of passion love will be found Cry to the world Our children's world Your hearts will learn To live again Cry to the world Our children's world Cry to the world Our children's world Cry to the world Our children's world We are this world we live in We stand with hope in our eyes The wars that travelled through time Will soon be wiped from our minds

Holy cow, that was good! I am a stone fan from way back in the late 70s, that's when I first fell in love with Renaissance. When I clicked on this video, I really didn't know what to expect, but I am so impressed! It's great music that is absolutely in keeping with traditional Renaissance music. God bless you, Annie, and all the past and present band members and fans!

Wow! I didn't know she had a collaboration with Ian! Sounds magical! I'd also wish to see her do some duets with Justin Hayward.

Heard " A trip to the fair " on the radio, went out and purchased Scheherazade the next day. Had every album you did in less then a week. Have been a fan ever since. Saw Renaissance with Gentle Giant in Chicago it was the best concert I have ever been to. Your new music " Grandine il Vento " is as engaging and beautiful as your early work! Annie Haslam voice is still my favorite. OUTSTANDING ! Great to hear Ian Anderson's flute on Cry to the world. Hope to hear more new music from you and get a chance to see you live in concert again.

Annie this is simply magnificent. The filming is brilliant, sort of mystifying with the tree having saw better days and that big dish appearing in backgrounds. Maybe I get it wrong but as if you're mother Earth's proxy, very beautiful woman singing out to the people and perhaps the heavens. Not sure how I'm to read the contract of nature and technology in the video. All this digital technology is overwhelming and its definitely both fantastic and quite the opposite all at the same time. I've always wished I could compose. I've been told I'm wonderful with words and poetry but composition has always evaded me and I did try long back. I've much creative talent yet only in certain areas and within those its either head or heart if you know what I mean.

Can you imagine Annie and Jethro in front of a full symphony orchestra with great background singers. The video is horrible. For someone who grew up on Renaissance, the spark is still there.

A little out of tune in places, I'm afraid, even though it is a beautiful melody, arrangement and song.
