I agree "Qué Más Quieres" was a great song but that was the one that was nominated over "Martirio" amazes me. This song is so powerful in writing, and my god- performance. Maybe because "Martirio" was an older composition?

When I saw the music video of Martirio, it hit me hard. Like being slapped in the face. When Dany cried out at the end, I broke down and cried. When mom passed away four years ago, Spanish was no longer heard in the house. The lyrics, as if telling mom’s story. I cannot sit through this magnificent song without breaking down. I have neglected mom’s legacy. I have picked up the guitar again and have used this song to teach my son Spanish. Amo a las tres hermanas por traer a mi madre de regreso.

Dany’s vocals just soar on this song. What a performance! I can’t wait til they release the entire show as a single concert video, so I can take it all in through one sitting. The set list has a real nice flow to it. For a band this young (I know they’ve been doing this for ten years, but they are still young, not even 25) to put on a show of this caliber is amazing, and very rare.

Had to go back to watch the OMV again, just to see if what you said is true. So much of the song's theme is rather dark, and I thought it (the contrast, or lack of it ) served the song quite well! At any rate, this is a masterfully put together piece of music, as good as anything else they have done! (Yes, I love it that much!)

This song is so deep and emotional, a nice and powerful rock n roll song, I mean, the music, the whole armonies, Pau's drums. They show as themselfs as a great rock n roll band. It seems that The Warning has no limit, that it is never enough and that as time goes by these young ladies show themselves better and better. Can't wait to see them on february 2025!! Let's rock! Still is my personal favorite track of theirs, though at any given moment I might say that another from The Warning's catalogue tops my list. I believe that the OMV was released that way with intent, in regards to your comment about whatever filter(s) may have been used, and the times of day that filming took place. Also pointed out to me not long ago, "Martirio" is their only song (at this point) to feature two Dany guitar solos.

They do the encore next, Narcisista followed by Evolve. They had used Martirio as the encore in some of the venues in Latin America in the past, but I think they are opting to do one Spanish and one English song as their encores now.

Yeah pretty sure it is just a "me" thing Ken...they were filming in the desert with high winds and high heat that maybe gave it that tinge you speak of. Anyway, no matter, here is one of my favorite songs from the Ladies and as a non Spanish speaker I now find myself singing along in Spanish...go figure. The Girls are teaching me some Spanish...love it. Love the reaction as always...Evolve is coming next and the last but not least will be Narcisista (these are the encore) .....hate to see this come to an end, but all great things must pass.

Don't get me wrong, I love the OMV for Martirio. I think it's a great concept and well shot, especially considering all the conditions they had to deal with. It's just a video editor/photographer thing. Some post-production I just think would have helped just in my opinion alone, apparently.

IDK but I think this may be the first song they performed from the Mayday/Error songs. The did a live early arrangement of it at a show in Argentina. The middle of the song was a bit longer than the studio version, but otherwise they are pretty-much the same. As for the OMV - the issue you're having mayhave been the blowing grit and sand being picked up by the camera equipment as a haze.

The only small issue that I have with the videos of this show, is the editing sometimes misses the mark, like during Ale's bass run after Dany's solo, the camera should clearly be on Ale. Another good example is the lighting and editing at the end of Dull Knives, Pau is not lit up clearly and the camera is not on her at all during the drum fills.

The girls get a better kick playing Martirio in non speaking Spanish European countries. Those fans sings their Español songs back to them in Spanish.
