I love her lighting and visuals. I went to her concert recently and was super excited to what her songs look like to her because I believe both Billie and Finneas has synesthesia.

Watching people fall in love with Billie (and finneas) is honestly so magical. Her live performances really seal the deal. I feel like billie puts so much effort into her music and finneas puts so much into the production and the music videos that she would be happy you and other people pay attention to everything not just the song and lyrics. It's good to appreciate all aspects of music not just how high and quiet she can sing sad lyrics. Billie is one of my favorite artists because she puts so much into every aspect of her music.

I believe they put the backing vocals she did herself in this live performance to support her live vocals, that’s why it sounds like it delayed maybe. And you’re doing a great job!! Good reaction video!

Chinchilla’s ability to express EXACTLY what the song is about in such a raw and emotive way makes it impossible not to feel it , emotionally and viscerally. The strings coming in feels like they are the heartstrings that are about to be shredded into bits in a matter of maybe a minute. She is a phenomenal artist and performer, and is always uniquely herself .

It is different to Ren videos which are one take. You saw 5 cuts, even though it's live. One person in the chat suggested that at those particular points she was emotionally overcome and the voice choked up to do another take. I don't know but it could be artistic choice! But I like the first version... There are songs I can not perform live without breaking into sobbing, so...

I love your input on songs bc you really just have a passion for the art. Billie’s other live performances of lamour de ma vie and this song, birds of a feather, are both really good. All from the same session as wildflower, which you’ve already seen

For live performances I recommend Ilomilo and Listen Before I Go from the Steve Jobs theater...on the second one there she plays the piano as well and controls the silence in the entire theater with emotion.
