about 3:20, what do it means unaccompanied singing but polyphonic at the same time? English isn't my first language and Google not really helping me this time, hope anyone may help me please. Anyway this video still helps a lots, thank you so much. It's quite unfortunate that this series stopped update.

I think with unaccompanied singing he means that voices are on their own, or everybody has a individual part to sing which differs from each other.

I think it just means that its a capella

unaccompanied as in they're not played alongside an instrument. polyphonic as in the harmony
