The following is a 100% real story. This happened in a Spanish forum. Some newbie guy started learning CFOP and complained that a PLL case was missing in literally every single list. He was really annoyed that no one before him noticed the missing PLL case. He named the case X-perm and described it as all edges permuted and corners diagonally permuted. Facepalm.

For the Z Perm I would just go with a "C" Perm if you imagine another line between the red and blue edge pieces or the orange and green edge pieces (I know it is almost the same principle as why it was called a "Z" Perm in the first place, but it would fit in that case as well).

Z perm is two parallel lines. Parallel lines never cross. But you know what does cross? Right, a cross. So an X. X.... X-perm (referred to as H-perm by the common people). So a Z-perm is basically the opposite of X-perm. What's the opposite of X? That's right, a tick. Therefore, Z-perm should be called a tick-perm.
