I can easily recognise when I get an E-perm. The hard part is knowing for a fact that I will get the orientation wrong and end up with a H-Perm

Same. The lack of any blocks makes it one of the easiest to recognize, but I then spend a solid 5 seconds figuring out how to hold it.

@@aidenbagshaw5573 The recognition technique to recognise which side E perm is to be done on is quite simple. Look at the UF sticker and then look at either the UFL or UFR sticker. If the stickers are opposite colours, then this is the correct position. If the stickers are the same colour, then you need to do a U or U' and then execute the alg.

My favorite PLL alg is T perm, because when you do blind fold solves using the beginners method (old pochmann method) you use T perm for to solve the edges and an algorithm simmular to Y perm when solving the corners. But I always choose to use T perm for both corners and edges. If you solve the rubik's cube that way, you would have to use the T perm about 20 times per solve. Which means I've done the T perm so many times that I've become attached to it. I never knew it was possible to acutally become attached to a single algorithm.

G perm actually is one of my favorites. Actually it's four of my favorites. I'd say they're the first ones after U, H, & Z. Maybe T, Y, & Jb (the fast J). Fun fact: it is possible to solve any PLL except H in just two G perms.

I'm barely sub-30 (PB 18.64), but the G perms are actually my favorite! Gb > Gd > Ga > Gc. They're slightly faster for me than H and Z perm, slower than Ub and Jb. Next favs are Ja (alternate alg), Rb, and F.

When I first started speed solving, my solve for V Perm that I learnt was: (R' U R' U') (B' D B' D' B2) (R' B' R B R). Besides the regrips, it was one of the more fun algs for me to execute! And defs wasn't in the F tier but at your level I'd understand why it wouldn't be used.

When I first started learning 1look PLL I immediately loved the Jb perm because of how smooth it is. But I hated the Ja perm because of the cube rotation and the F moves. So I've been referring to them as the 'good' JPerm and the 'shit' JPerm.

I found a recognition tip for e perm. The corner stickers are always opposite each other when you look directly at them. So line up the centres and do that

A good V-perm is R2 B2 R F R’ B2 R F’ R and the way you do it is to rotate the cube on the first R2 so that you have the top color facing you and doing the F moves with the ring finger. 👍 Its really fast

That's technically not a J Perm, as that one(the Ja Perm) kinda forms an L, while the Jb Perm forms an actual J.
