Hello and congrats for your amazing videos but you have to say more about Greek stolen Parthenon sculptures. They stole them from Greece this is very very important and complitely different from other Greek sculptures like the great Venus of Milo's in Louvre museum or etc. , this argument about that they can be viewed separately is something like a joke because Greece has a very good museum in Athens that it can host them, so they can be in their natural environment!

Always makes me uncomfortable, to see mummies on Display, in public like that after all they were people, no matter how many centuries ago .

Спасибо! Что касается одежды, ты ожидал, что женщины оденутся еще немного? Как там где ты живешь?

Hi Renata 👩 and funny face Gordon 👿, Renata you are stressing poor Gordon out standing in long que's ,have you given him his daily donut 🍩🍩☕😖 allocation,no wonder he is looking so fatigued 😞 and stressed out in his rain mack in not the best of weather💧💧💧☔☔ conditions , London is no substitute for Florida on cold and wet day. The Harry Potter theme, I have a bit of news for you with regards Harry Potter,Harry Potter's birth place is in Edinburgh Scotland,J.K Rowling lives in Edinburgh ,and that is were she wrote her Harry Potter stories, the Harry Potter films were filmed at and in Anwick Castle in Northumberland the seat of the Duke of Northumberland , in fact I sometimes pop in for a cup of coffee ☕ and have Gordon favorite a donut 🍩 , J.K Rowling would pop in to have a cup of coffee and sit and write in long hand the Harry Potter trilogies, just across the road from Edinburgh University Law Faculty and next door to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh ,and round the corner from the National Museum of Scotland,also the birth place of the first Bond 007 Sean Connery,anyway I will depart and let you and Gordon have his quota of you know whats 🍩🍩🍩 😋,I will catch up with you and your Sherpa Gordon later,PS I hope you had a good rest and holiday back home in Brazil, but as I have already stated not a good start to 2019 for the people Brazil with the loss of life due to the huge mud slide after the dam burst, I have saw footage taken of the dam bursting and the massive mud and slug avalanche that followed with the loss of life ,they stood no chance of escaping the carnage of the dam bursting, just ordinary people working hard to support there families in very tough and dangerous conditions,big multinational companies are making huge profits from the sweet toil of there workers who have lost there lives under such tragic circumstances and conditions.💲💲💲💲💲💲💸💸💸💸💸💸🌎. God bless and take care.

Yes, it's so sad what happened there! 😥😥 And to think that something similar happened not long ago... and companies didn't learn the lesson... Yeah, your corner of the world is truly special! Last week I saw a documentary about Edinburgh and I'm so amazed by the architecture 😍😍. One day I'll create a really nice vlog there!

@@RenataPereiraTV Yes it is very sad what happened, profit before peoples lives the lowest common denominator ,companies like these ,should be named and shamed and prosecuted,as you stated this has happened before and you are very much correct and it will happen again,did they do anything after the first disaster,the answer is no,this tragedy is proof of that ,total disregard for peoples life's, all they care about is huge profits,they don't care about the damage they do to the environment ,they don't have to live with it. Yes Edinburgh is steeped in history,great writers, in medicine,the law,and the sciences, Nobel recipients in there chosen fields,in the past and the present ,in Physics,Biosciences, Mathematics,and literature,the first Encyclopedia Britannica was written and published in Edinburgh,map making and printers of maps,did you know that the writer of Sherlock Holmes and the person who Sherlock Homes was based on was a Professor of medicine Joseph Bell,who was Arthur Conan Doyle lecturer and mentor,Charles Darwin came to Edinburgh to study medicine, Simpson the person who removed pain from surgery by discovering chloroform he was a doctor from Edinburgh,Lister for the introduction antiseptic techniques in surgery ,Alexander Fleming who discovered Penicillin, the first cloned living life form Dolly the sheep was created by Professor Wilmot in Edinburgh at the research institute in Bioscience,and that is just the tip of the iceberg,and that does not even cover political the history of Edinburgh,those who went to the USA such as John Muir ,Andrew Carnegie,and those who went to Russia as I mentioned ,in charge of Catherine the Greats Navy, that is why the last Tsar of Russia was the commander and chief of a Scottish regiment,the Royal Scots Dragoons,know as the Scots Greys due the colour of there berries which is grey in colour,there cap badge is the double headed eagle of Russia presented to them by there regimental commander and chief the Tsar,they escorted the remains of Tsar and his family when they were interred in St Petersburg ,they still toast there regimental commander and chief in there regimental mess ,special permission was granted by the Queen for them to escort the remains of the Tsar and his family,because Scots have played a big part in the Russian forces over the years in their history as commanders and instructor's, I think that one of the tutors to the son of the last Tsar was Scottish I might be wrong,I stand to be corrected if I am wrong,but I do know that Scots over the history of Russia were tutors in the royal court. Yes Edinburgh is a place to look at,the biggest international festival in the world takes place every year in Edinburgh, its a cultural banquet from all over the world in the one place at the same time,even London cannot match that distinction,they have tried but not even come close,Edinburgh is to Scotland as St Petersburg is to Russia,and you did an excellent piece on St Petersburg last year,I think even VP was pleased as this is his home town were he grew up in and studied in,I can see you face on a stamp,being posted everywhere round the globe from Russia, I see that VP is taking a big interest in all things South American, Venezuela for instance,I think because of its oil reserves in the ground and its other assets, along with political influence in the region, I think DT shot himself in the foot over Mexico and the wall,but also what he stated about the people ,not a good way to influence world opinion,and those in the region, such as South America as on big unit of countries bigger than himself, I think this will come back and haunt him in years to come in history. Well all the best to you and Gordon ,🍩🍩 ☕🍔🍟🍝🍕take care and God Bless.

Yeah... it's a delicate topic... But at least I'm happy that those pieces are well preserved and freely available for anyone to see
@ethelmini5 жыл бұрын
Oh the irony. We 'stole' the Rosetta Stone off Napoleon Bonaparte after he'd stolen it off the Egyptians. There are some pieces that maybe should be returned, but so much was saved for history before others gave it any value. Doesn't it benefit the whole of humanity to have had all our past brought together to be preserved, contextualised and understood?

please dont go to museums where they only have nothing from other countries , they are very dull , just like Mexico , USA , Argentina , etc , its called history , give America back to the native Americans before we give back statues to Greece , deal or no deal ?!

How many of this things at British museum are theft?
@Paul-hl8yg4 жыл бұрын
Most were purchased. However, most of the items taken to the British museum & all museums, were not valued in the country of origin. The elgin marbles were going to be destroyed, until Elgin purchased them. So he saved them! We would not have many historical artifacts, if museums didn't preserve them!
