La Renault 25, mais aussi la R21, marquent toutes deux les meilleures années de Renault. J'ai eu une 21 qui a tenu 700 000 Km et sans soucis majeurs. Récemment, j'ai acheté une 25, bien trop agacé par le coût d'entretien des voitures modernes gavées d'électronique ! From France - Bien à vous John.

I didn't realise this was Paul's car. A name I've come across a lot through the owners club. Fantastic car. A great, well researched review John. Crucially the audio was loud and clear (an issue I suffered with a lot when I started out last year). Happy to compare technical notes if it helps via social media or email.

Howaye, I used to Drool when ever I seen a Renault 25 back in the 1990's. Never been able to get or even Sat in One. I did have a Laguna 2 Sport Tourer for a few years and I still miss that one now.

Surviving Renault 25's will go up in value because it has something very highly valuable in it. The gearbox as Lotus used it in the Espirit. I quite like Renault 25's as the dashboard is futuristic and very comfy.

Well done John, a really good watch. The new camera really adds to the presentation, with the different views of the car while it is on the road. I hadn’t realised I had my own cameo from the back seat! Keep up the good work, Paul.

I had one when I was stationed in the UK ( USAF) It talked in a british accent it was cool.. "Right Door NOT Shut" "Bonnet Open"

Renault made special sets os wheels with the design equal to those but made of magnesium, it was an expensive optional on the R25 V6 Turbo and I was lucky enough to get a set of them on my Clio MK1 Petrol Van! 4.3kg each 😁👍

Defined a bad period in the early 2000s but they seem to be hugely improved since 2010 onwards. Not forgotten your car either Cormac, just ran out of time to do it this month

Renault 25, turn on the indicator and the brake lights start flashing.... or sometimes youd see them cruising with the reverse lights illuminated

I did come here for the review, nicely done. But in Ireland, is traffic normally permitted to cross onto your side of the road and cause you to swerve over to the yellow marking area near the verge? (seen at 6.38), or is that a case of where you had to get out of the way to avoid an accident?

Hmmmm, hard to explain. The road was pretty wide and a car decided to overtake. I just moved over to let him do it. As it didn't really inconvienence me I didn't care too much.
