With only 312 GT Turbos left in the UK, Conditions of GT Turbos vary.
The graph taken from Glenmarch shows that prices have been steadily increasing since 2015 indicating a strong projection for potential appreciation.

these cars were awesome when they came out and still awesome and rare today. still the best hot hatch and better than the ford escort great to see one again.

I passed my driving lessons on this one here in France , same white color , I am now 56 and I still remember when the turbo engages during an acceleration.

I had the phase 1 but same limited colour....wish i still had it today worth a few quid.

It wasn't an early nineties hot hatch, I had one brand new in march 1986. C430OTN. It cost £6k.

Yep, always loved the phase one alloys and the side mouldings. And to have one in blue - I'd happily die and go to heaven!

Jesus this Pearl white gt turbo gets about I worked on that car 6 years ago when it was in Ireland did a lot of welding to it new inner and outer sills jacking points rear bumper mounts etc

That sounds like only 50% of this 5GTT is still original the rest is sheet metal welded on and painted over.

I had a Renault 5 Gordini Turbo and one of the GT’ later on and have to say always preferred the older Gordini…both fun mind you! Like my several fiat coupes I have now hahahahaha!😂✌️. Great vid…thank you!

I remember going in a test drive of a secondhand Gordini Turbo in south London in the mid 80s. Max throttle around the suburban streets as was normal in those days. 😆 Happy days.

Hi, why do you prefer the Gordini? I had 2x GT’s back in the day, never had a chance to drive a Gordini, they look lovely today 👌

@@exgtt2061 the Gordini turbos I had handled slightly better for our b roads and had enough power…I’d had a few GTs (one blew up lol) and loved em but at the time just preferred the smaller Gordini’s handling and styling was all…had an alfasud cloverleaf that handled as well with a nice engine but the build quality and panel gaps for a brand new car meant it was returned in a week hahahaha. 🤣

I owned and drove exactly the same model in 1990 in germany, ok steering wheel on the left side, but aside from that, the same car. I was 19 !! F-ing 19 years old and i have no clue, i survived this car. The reason i stop driving it, was my Turbo Charger blow up twice and i run out of money..... but hell...that was the best 12 month driving a car in m whole life LOL..... now i am 52 and take the train :-(
