This is the first part of the build series for the legendary rally car, the Alpine A110 1600 S. This car won the first ever World Rally Championship in 1973.
This kit is 1/24 from Heller and I will be largely building it out of the box.

@@BOABModels Probably the main reason to build Heller rather than Tamiya is this kit's body much closer to the real one than tamiya. When you put 2 of them side by side it is very visible. I have this kit in my stash and eventually will build it but it is definitely not at the top of the list.

Yeah, someone who had built both told me the same thing. This version has more flared wheel arches. It's one of my favourite classic rally cars so I had wanted to build it for a while.
