In this video you can watch my new Renault Austral 2023 POV test drive. I'm driving the iconic esprit Alpine E-Tech Full Hybrid 200 version of this SUV with front-wheel drive on different kind of roads: countryside roads, city roads, the highway, a bumpy road, cobblestones, ... I also test the acceleration (0-100 km/h) and quickly show the exterior.

hello, is this car good for highways? is for example only the petrol engine working at 140 kmh? an is it noisy at 130/140 kmh? thx

I thought it sounded noisy inside on the video. Road noise was too much and it didn't seem to absorb the bumps very well. It's a shame because I love the look of this car.

@@carstanpovdriving Ik ben er tevreden over. Ik rijd vooral in Sport omdat hij dan zijn verbruik het beste is. Ik reed altijd in Eco in het begin maar bij koudere temperaturen ging mijn verbruik omhoog (6,5 liter) terwijl ik in de zomer aan 4,8 liter zat. Ik zat soms aan 22 liter (je hoorde motor dan heel hard draaien) wanneer hij wat aan het bijladen was tijdens de rit. Door in Sport te rijden, wordt het verbruik beter geregeld. Het is een heel comfortabele auto om mee te rijden, zeker voor langere afstanden.

How is the isolation ? is it noisy about 130/140 km/h?

@@DH-wc3le you can hear some engine noise but it is acceptable. You don't have to shout when driving. You can feel relaxed and it is easy to talk to someone else when you drive

I had this car for test drive 1h. For me was perfect. 46 mpg on return :) Ionic version with Bose :DX No spare wheel.....
