Renault CLIO GT Line "review"

Yep, no more frowning upon bigger, more expensive cars that boast with their brilliantly white headlights and lovely daylight LEDs. Now you can stuff all of that into the small Clio.

I got this car for my birthday and I love it 😁 only downsides for me is the engine doesn’t have much power and the car switches off every 5 minutes when idling

Driven this Clio GT line diesel all the tech is great dab, Bluetooth music, android auto, leds, parking sensors and the drivers seat is really comfy. Only downside is the weak engine doesn't like revving, no turbo whistle and never encourages you to go fast.

I have this engine... and is excellent 5,4l/100... on motorway max 6l (200km driven 160 km/h :)) with normal 130 km/h onli 5,8l/100... very silent engine

Do the big alloys ruin the ride quality?

I wouldn't say they ruin it, but larger diameter rims will always affect ride quality. If you like a smoother ride, I would suggest smaller rims. The bigger problem with the GT Line equipment were definitely the fairly uncomfortable seats.

It's a sporty car not a comfortable one. So if you're expecting excitement and that stuff you would love this gt line.

Clio GT line is for those who want a Clio Trophy but can't get it so yeah. I don't see the point in buying it. It is just essentially a Clio DCi with some snazzy features that will probably stop working in 10 years and a nice exhaust. That's it. Should mention around the same performance as the Toyota Yaris 1.33.
