In regards to the first launch control error. 100 percent driver error. 1st gear launch control, build revs, off you go. Cars goin maybe 30km/h. Wheels r spinning at 60km/h. You shifted to 2nd almost immediately, which forced the gearbox to slam from 6000RPM in 1st@30km/h to 2nd, which snapped the revs down and the clutch slipped from 6000RPM all the way down to 1500. System detected the huge slip as an anormality and went into protection mode. Disabled clutch on 2nd and probably threw out into neutral. As far as I can tell, the system worked as intended and avoided any further damage to the gearbox.

So hold on. You put the car in manual shifting mode. Put on launch control. Floor it without shifting it for a couple of seconds. And then just stop in second gear? lmao

Regarding the shift paddles, I think with this setup the idea is that you should not be shifting in the corner, not with a lot of lock on.

Clio Looks and goes better than common fiesta. Paddle shift is the way to go. Manual is old hat. All supercars are fitted with paddles.

If you want to drive the part in a different look with all-wheel drive and 17cm ground clearance off-road, you can buy a Nissan Juke Nismo RS CVT 4WD. Same engine, great Jatco CVT-8 (not the same as in the other Jukes) with sequential 8-speed sport mode incl. paddle shifters, you can choose between front-wheel drive, 4wd torque vectoring and 50% rear axle lock, there are also different driving modes that also include the switch steering sharper. I drove a Mazdaspeed3 before, but I think the Juke is a brilliant and absolutely unique CUV track tool. Just an off-road Clio RS Trophy that can do everything.

I love this car... looks hot and goes like crazy. So awesome! Great review ...but why would you use launch control on a wet road and after driving through mud? ...ERROR: Driver attempting suicide!

Hey , guys . I bought my Rs Trophy 2 days ago ,and I have to say it is indeed an amazing car.One downside though it is when you are driving in the City Traffic. For example if you dont switch off the automatic Start/Stop system, after 10-15 stops on a traffic lights - the car will completely shut down!! Apparently It is too much for the Battery and the System will just shut down, in this occasion you NEED to completely restart everything , which is of course very uncomfortable when you are standing in Traffic. I am not sure if this is a common problem , or is it just me. But except that , the car is AMAZING!

i work with them. the original battery is total shit. ge a new one for free were you bought it. and the problem is away :) hope your happy now man :)

Hi Steliyan. The samething is happend by me 2 times with my Megane 4 GT also in City Traffic. That's just weird and uncomfortable as you said. Since then I disable the start/stop system when I am driving in the City.

A review done by someone who don't know who to use a launch control. Perhaps the error it's because the driver who doesn't know who to use the gearbox.

In Rs mode you have to manage the acceleration…. Because all the electronics help are off, in sport mode is the best L. Control for a person without experience….

Johnny Tong I bought one in November, it's a good car I haven't driven any of the competitor cars, but it is definitely faster than the fiesta, they always try to race you, the only issue I really have is the build quality is not all that, it has significant wind noise at high speed. The rs mode makes an amazing popping noise when it hits the max rev limiter even without the akrapovic exhaust

Med Anas Belmahi the ride is rather stiff, you will feel every bump, but it is beautiful around the corners. I did not enjoy taking long drives in it, but the bucket seats are very comfortable they hug you very nicely

Med Anas Belmahi hi buddy! Don't ask too much on long ride quality and build quality. When you drive it like an animal, it'll definitely put a huge smile on your scared face! The crack and popping sound when you upshift is more than nice given it is only a 1.6t. The deriving experience overcomes all other shortcomings. However, if you do drive it everyday, what I do is just put it on rs mode and enjoy it all the time. Whenever i feel like comfort and peace, I'll drive my mercedes e coupe which is softer and boat-like. But not even half of the fun comparing to the Trophy . It really depends on your preference of cars. I bought the Trophy for fun. And i am more than happy I did!!!' Hope it helps

The LS diff will only come into play in a corner. You did not let the launch control do it's own thing., that being said it shouldn't cause an error.

Recently had one of these for a couple of weeks. I have previously owned a 172 Phase 1 and 2, 182 cup. The new model hasn't captured the sporty hot hatch magic the older versions had. The punchiness has gone.

Yes. If you go for the 220 trophy or F1 R.S 18 limited edition. You get the akrapovic exhaust as standard 🙂🙃 makes a lot of noise. A45 amg kind of 🙂🙂 an easy car to live with

First lunch control and error massage, this what I hate, it is an sporty car, but not able to handle sporty driving dynamics, wtf... That's all said, we gonna miss a lot Lancer Evo's, truly proven sporty cars...

How is this car compared to the Megane RS. I've been renting the Megane RS every summer for the past three years but now it's gone and I'm curious how it compares in performance and cornering ability.

Cosmin Mihu I currently drive a 2017 Clio RS 220 Trophy and I have also driven a Megane 275 on many occasions. They Clio is the far superior car both technically and drivabilty. The DC gear box is amazing and they way the car handles is on another level.

i had this problem too with launch controll but i have the trophy version 2015 and i just say this car is so fuckking shiit dont buy this shitt car so many strange noises bad quality buy a seat leon fr for that price iam so unlucky to have this car my bad if i noned that i wouldnt buy it...
