Renault Clio Sport 172/182 Mk2 headlight adjuster replacement

How to remove the bumper and headlights, and replace the headlight adjuster on a Renault Clio Sport 172/182 Mk2 (and for other mk2 models).
I purchased a replacement adjuster for a BMW E39 5 Series (about $10AUD on eBay)

hey and how do you know if it’s adjusted correctly, like the adjuster does move the whole headlight assembly and they need to be adjusted right for mot, do you really just go and wait for the ball to click in and that’s it ? or do you have to play with it a bit more before putting the headlights in ?

Once the ball has clicked into the socket you still need to adjust them. I set my lights up against a wall in the dark and adjusted them that way.

Bmw e39 adjusters should fit. Check eBay 👍🏻

What are you using to undo the screws under the car and under the wheel arch, are they a 10mm

Yeah I’m pretty sure those bolts are all 10mm

Hi Michael Where can I buy the repair kit? I changed it in a BMW E39 but I cannot find the repair kit for my Clio2 Is the same kit or is needed to adapt it?

There’s no kit specifically for the Clio, I just used the BMW parts. You can find them on eBay.
