At the risk of being pedantic...the e tech gearbox isn't a five speed with three electric speeds, it's a four speed. The motor uses two of these (second and fourth I believe) while the engine can use all four. The engine and motor can work together or separately so the 15 modes arise from all these permutations so you can get say motor in second, engine in third, motor in second AND engine in third and so on. And on.

headroom seems a bit low in the captur...

The sunroof did cut a bit in, but you can height adjust the seat which I didn't do quite as far as I would normally.
