I did this. Used a 125 diameter angle grinder to cut ecu open. Removed the chip legs with nail clippers. Engine runs fine. BUT. Lost power stearing. Had to rewire heat plugs as they didnt work. Lost clock and trip counter. :) Im happy it runs.

Здравейте! Дали ще сработи за Сценик 2000 година.. Лампата на иммото изчезна и няма палене... Проверихме бушони, сензор на колянов вал, сега антената от ключалката свалихме и пратихме за тест.. Но не ми се струва, че ще е това.. Лампичката, която мигаше/светеше преди за ключа/иммото сега е тъмна... Дали и сгънал имобилайзера и този трик дали ще проработи? Благодаря!

Hello would it work on 1.8l renault clio 1992m ? Gasoline? The thing is the car starts sometimes fine, sometimes dont, if you open doors it shuts engine off and immobilizer then does stupid things again. A real pain.

hi. nice vid.. i have just changed my engine from a 2003 vauxhall movano .. it ha a 2.5 dti head damaged engine in it , it worked out cheaper for me to buy a cheap van, so the new engine i put in the van was 2.8 dti. same vans different engines , but it will not start, the engine i removed had an ECM ... the engine i put in did not have an ecm .. i swapped the key ring around the ignition barrel plus the transponder from under the steering wheel.. and still will not fire.. is there another part to the immobilizer system i need to change.. all wiring is all the same apart from the engine , and all the wiring that was connected to old engine went with it,, and all the new engine wires slotted right into the same connectors with no modifications required any help would be appreciated , thankyou in advanced,.

Hi Belfast ! You need the ECM that cames with this engine . The transponder of the immo sends information to the ECM , that the right key is used to start the engine . You need to buy the whole assembly . ECM + transponder + key , to be able to start the engine .

@@crank3646 i have the van still its a 2001 vauxhall movano .. non common rail manual pump , the only wires on the engine are 1 single green live wire to the manual injection pump.. and a few sensor wires.. not electric injectors .. no ecu..

What happens if you put power to this green wire that goes to the pump ? That should open the valve and open the path for the fuel to go to the injectors

@@crank3646 when ignition is on the green wire at the pump gives a 12v reading on my voltage reader.. red lead to green wire black touching earth.... im going to try wiring the fuel pump direct to battery via a relay tomorrow .. i will let you know if it works..

@@crank3646 spent another few hours at it today.. no joy.. i used a direct power line to supply fuel to the pump.. still it would not start.. im thinking i might need to change the ignition barrel , failing that i will have to change the full wiring loom.. nightmare,,.

why u didn't read it with Kess-T with it u don't need to remove ecu, eeprom etc.. u can read it from diagnostic plug cable !!

no. You now have to rewire heat plugs directly to the battery positive and put a switch on the dash.
