If you click "SHOW MORE" in the description above your be able to see Links to the Tools 🔧🔨🔧 I use. Also Clickable Chapters📋 📙 throughout the video and other Links 🎬 that may be of interest. I've had a few viewers request where they can buy the tools they see in some of my videos but it's not very clear that the "SHOW MORE" tab has a lot of information in that may be of interest. Admittedly the amazon links are associated with me and I would earn a small commission which helps towards keeping the channel funded.

I have just replaced the rear pads on my 2008 Laguna 3 Hatchback. The new pads are wider than the old ones. So the pad covers the whole disk and is rubbing on the lip. Any ideas? These are the pads from eurocar parts. They said thats normal. I have never had this issue before. Thanks.

There is often a slight model variation and the discs may be slightly different sizes. You need to check this again. I would take your old pads in or measure the diameter of the discs. If the pads overlap the discs there is a danger that as the pads wear you could have the outer edge of each brake pad no wear down. If this happens and those outer edges touch your effectively loose your braking on that wheel as the pads can't pinch the disc.

@@CoatsandGaiters The outer edge of the pad has already worn down more than the rest. The rest of then pad is wearing as normal. The squeak and squeal at when braking at low speeds. I will just buy new discs and pads as the discs are old. Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated.
