I own the same car but mine is a 2005 with the 1.5 dci engine before the facelift In terms of confort handling breaks are really good in this car suspension is smooth and the car is very economical and better than what people think of it It only needs good maintenance and driving really well

I own a 2007 Renault Megane sedan and it's one of the most comfortable cars I've been in. I don't care what people say about it because it's so great and fun to drive! Very smooth and very clean car. It's super reliable with 148,000km on the clock and it doesn't have a single issue because it's been maintained and serviced properly. The only slight issue if you really care that much is that in my Megane the audio speaker on the passenger side of the car is a little bit louder than the one on the driver's side. It's such a great car so please don't hate on the Megane! 😢

Hi! I guess you can fix this problem by accessing the sound system options. There should be a setting for making the right front speakers sound louder than the left ones.That was the case with our Scenic 2003 model.

I have 2008 Mégane 2.2 CC 1.9 dci 130 luxe privilège, and it is honestly, here it is the most pleasant to ride that I know. comfortable, more than a big recent sedan, with torque and good steering, I love this car

I thought about one these but worried about reliability issue's. I travel alot for work. Loads of city driving and can spend all day motorways. Last year i covered 34k miles in my suzuki 1.6 petrol do you think this will cope. I can say for e.g go pick up my work mates thats 25 miles city. Drive to newcastle 200 miles, then might have to go london then back to sheffield then 100 miles there then 200 miles somewhere else day in and all night sometimes will this be able to do it or am i better off keeping my suzuki.

I had one and its not bad at all. Very comfortable, stable, good cornering, enough power, good fuel economy for a car this age and with an 1.6. It isnt noisy, it does the job very well, and its very safe in the event of a crash. Im soon upgrading to a megane 3 coupe. I was just advised to stay away from diesel ones and the newer tce-s since they can have some reliabilty issues and more expensive maintanance. But if you get a 1.6 petrol one, you should be good to go. They are built to last. Just keep an eye on electronic component. Onyl thing that i had to replace was a window up and down switch. But its a great car

@@francimasaza8749 i disagree, the K9K 1.5 dci engines have been extremley reliable since around 2006, before that was the bearing fragility which would cause engine failure prematurely. I own a scenic from end of 2006 and this engine is just too good. I have a friend with a megane with over 400K km with the same engine, so no it was very good way before 2015. Some french cars engines are quite solid ! (:

Strange. I find my opinion to be the opposite. Owned a 2007 Grand Scenic 1.9dci from new and never had an issue or anything go wrong on me. Currently own a 09 Peugeot 207 1.4 petrol and just needed rear springs after owning it for approx 3 years as a cheap runabout. Both cars have never given me trouble.

terrible reliability? my mom has almost an identical as one in the video and it has been nothing but reliable, the only thing that went bad on that car was the air conditioning, but that was just that it needed to change the air-conditioning liquid. I also own a Megane but the 225 rs model, no problems at all, and my dad's Renault velsatis and Renault avantime has had barely any issues also.
