I own a Megane Sports Tourer in Dynamique trim with the 1.5L dCi 105. The best way to describe the Megane is "jack of all trades, master of none". A Focus is much more fun to drive, yes, but the Megane does everything OK, and I'm chuffed with my car for that very reason. Renault will release a new one in 2016 though, so keep an eye out for that one.

+Tarik El-Yabani Plus the fact that Ford is fucking crap with their electronics.Holly shit, i've been through 3 cars from them until i had enough. Renault is nothing special, but it's way more reliable than Ford.

Ford focus better on space are you serious?? I am 5'10 and couldn't fit behind my driving position in my 61reg Focus Titanium, plus three in the back was super tight as it is not very wide and then the boot is small aswell.

I dont get the buzz with the focus. I owned a 2013 focus hatch and was not blown away by it. it was good but wouldn't say great. I'm picking up a megane GT-Line in a few days and i am much more impressed with it then the focus.

+Mathew Russell Neither do I, I owned a 61reg Titanium 1.6 turbo petrol Fully specced and I loved the sound, handling and the drive and the keyless entry but space was very cramped especially in the rear and in the boot. found My 62reg Vauxhall Astra Elite better in terms of handling etc and definitely better on space in the back and boot. Was missing keyless entry though

It looks great from from its exterior however from the modern american view: whats the MPG?. I' d love to see how this car preforms on a track but if your buying a car this size in the us.. MPG and stylizing matter.

Hi, thanks for the comment. We were testing the 1.6 litre diesel and found we got around 70mpg. Hope you enjoyed the video.

The Renault Megane was selling well in 2004 and was in the top ten and in 2014 it's fallen out of the top ten. Same with Peugeot. French cars aren't doing well. I would have a Toyota Auruis instead.
