Renault Scenic - Aussentemperatursensor ersetzen / replace the temperature sensor

Temperature sensor of our Renault Megane Scenic was broken and has to be replaced.
No woodorking, but some making and an inside wiev to the TGIF-Household and what we've done so far.

Drücke Dir die Daumen dass Du bald wieder die Kraft hast ein Video zu machen. Gut wenn man so einfach etwas tauschen kann, das ist ja bei den neueren Autos nicht selbstverständlich. Meine Eltern haben einen Kangoo, denke mal der Sensor ist da auch im Spiegel. Mein Mitsubishi Colt ist 23 Jahre alt, hat noch keinen Sensor. Ein Teil weniger was kaputt gehen kann. Gruß Stefan

Danke Stefan, Dieser Wagen ist schon extrem was Elektronik angeht und Renault war immer gut für Überraschungen. Bis nächstes Jahr werden es wohl Videos über das Deutsche Landleben werden, bis ich wieder eine richtige Werkstatt habe. Liebe Grüße aus der Lüneburger Heide Peter

What type of temperature sensor is this, I need a spare part, and the original is like 70£, please help ?

Sorry, didn't measure it before I assembled it. Got mine from the scrapyard, was much cheaper and still works. Hope you'll find something similar in your area. Information on parts for this car seem to be top secret.

@@PeteTGIF How do I know wich cable that is + or - when connecting the cables? both are black..... Is a shortcircuit possible?

@@laryshoulder7 the sensor is a resistor so there is no + or -. It doesn't matter which way you connect the cables.

@@PeteTGIF Ahh, ok. So if there ar two - - in the display, it should display the outside temperature, if I cut the cables and change to a new sensor?
