Pay Way My freshman algebra and trig professor, Capt. Harry Moore USNA ‘34, flew one of those off a battleship before WW II. Always thought they were pretty.

That twin-engined seaplane put into the water at 4:04 or so is especially interesting. That would make quite a real seaplane, and could be made to have retractable gear without much difficulty.
