Really, I don't know what it is about this chopper that I like so much but I just love the hell out it! I'm a big fan of the Bell 407 and I never seemed to be very impressed by those "jolly greens" yet, this FA-223 is just blowing me away. I don't understand what happened in the video and why they had to stop flying it but I guess it was because something broke off? Too bad... The workmanship in this aircraft is EXPERT! No doubt about it, the builder new what he was doing. And the design, well who else but the Germans could get out to this point? I've never heard of an FA 223 Dragon and have no idea when it was first released but obviously WW II was still going on when they built this aircraft but never got the chance to use it. Great machine! I hope you make another video and show it flying. Rich

It’s not a coaxial machine. It’s known as “side by side”. Coaxial is when one rotor is above the other, as in Kamov 26. Otherwise a great video. Very stable flight.

I think you may want to exaggerate the spacing for the hor-stab as it looks like the larger one would have a bigger gap and be just out of the wash where this one looks like it is inside the wash and is getting a sympathetic vibration. Amazing flying machine. It takes the danger feeling of one heli and doubles the danger lol
