Just a heads up, this option is now in the legacy section of the systems tab so it takes a bit of digging to find it

I work in video production niche and clearly understand importance of this video, big thanks for sharing. But also I'm newbie in c4d and total noob in redshift espessially, and firstly I just got hooked by the look of this scene. And I'll be the happiest man, if one day you drop the tutorial of achiving such a good look or just an overview of this scene (lighting, texturing and etc.). I think, it'll very helpfull and pleasent for many people. And also, keep doing as you are, because you give so good info in a very kind way, nice to watch your videos, thank you

Hi Maksim, thank you for the kind words. I am glad this has helped you. You can visit www.youme.academy, I put some of the project files up there for purchase. This one is not up, I will let you know if it becomes available. Thank you for your support!

Hi, very useful but I've a question. what happens if I wanna to render only one object of the comp in a clay mode? I should make an ID material or something like that? Thnks
@YouAndMeAcademy4 жыл бұрын
I don't think that is possible. You would have to render it separately. Thanks for your support!

Is just a material, diffusion weight: 1, diffusion roughness: 1. Reflection/refraction Weight: 0

That pear though, looking so good !! Did you scan it yourself ?
@YouAndMeAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Hi Chetan. It is a real scan, just not by me. Thank you for the support!

Is there a way to do this in the takes system? What if you want to use SSS across the entire scene?
@YouAndMeAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Hmmmm not sure about the takes, but SSS you’d just have to apply a material for your objects manually.

Dude, that could have been a 5 second video. Why are you wasting your and anyones time?
@YouAndMeAcademy Жыл бұрын
Ah ok, you are looking for a video manual. Never seen one, but you can find the Redshift Manual here to get all the info you'd like! help.maxon.net/r3d/cinema/en-us/ YMA is not an online manual that just delivers facts. We believe in explaining WHY you do something rather than "Here it is" (again check that user manual) ;) Understood if you don’t like the style of teaching, but it’s not necessary to voice it. We do this because we want to give back to the community. All of the content is made in our own time. YMA is made out of love, it’s not our full time job. My suggestion to you is to not watch our tutorials because they don't seem like a good fit. Please take your negativity to another channel, it’s not welcome here.
