This is a powerful explanation and brings the human mind precisely to where it needs to be to properly understand the passage. Thank you so much.

God gave us property rights, as you said, Pastor John. Then he told us in the 10 commandments not to steal. What is stealing? Taking property that is not yours. So, God says don't take things that aren't yours. To the extent that we have anything, it is because God gave it to us. If Caesar then decides to levy a tax to take what is not his, how can taxation be justified in the eyes of God as it is in direct violation of one of the 10 commandments?

Where is the application? Not very helpful. Unfortunately. I’d like John’s conclusion was just.” not a dodge.” And that’s not very helpful to us. Seriously, trying to understand this passage .

I dont think it was ever Gods will to enforce the payment of tax otherwise he wouldve made it a cardinal sin. If you dont give unto Caesar what is caesers, it is not a sin but according to man made law he will be imprisoned and punished. If you do pay tax it is not a sin however it is upto you what value you hold in money, if paying tax means avoiding imprisonment/death and still live a devoted life to God with your family then so be it. Man are the ones who created governance and that is the price we pay. The big thing here is that if you do not give to God what is Gods you will perish for eternity. So i disagree with your statement that God calls us to submit to Caesar. I will pay tax in order to live a fruitful life and serve God but to submit to Caeser, an ungodly man known to persecute those who believe in the one true God, that i will never to Man must only submit to God. "The head of every man is Christ, the head of every woman is man, the head of Christ is God"

You say " If you dont give unto Caesar what is caesers, it is not a sin". Are you saying we can disobey Christ who is our head and still not sin at the same time? I mean he explicitly said we do what you say we should not.

How will you obey the laws of God if you can't even stand with justifiable human laws ? If you can't even value the small things don't bother the big ones
