Awesom lighting. Will you please make substance painter texturing video tutorial and explain about emissive channel. And i always have confusion how many textures sets should have. How dens poly count should be as i don't have industry experience if you can explain this would be very helpful. And thanks for this video.

I love Toolbag but since Blender 2.80 Eevee killed the game a bit lol. Toolbag is still more powerful and very nice to use, faster... and not very expensive ^^

I think they are different tools. If I were to use Blender I'd honestly use it in the cycles mode to get the more realistic render. Hey that's a video idea :)
@tetsuooshima8324 жыл бұрын
@@MR3DDev It depends, I prefer Cycles too but right now I'm on a project where Eevee gives practically the same results, in 15 seconds instead of 2 min. Only the SSS is better with Cycles but of course it won't work that well with just any project :) So far Eevee is no good for SSS skin and realistic hairs, or at least I haven't found out how lol Come to think of it, I don't know how I would do that in Toolbag neither... hmmm

Question, Why are such render engines required, when most mainstream modelling software such as Maya/Blender come with render engines?
@MR3DDev4 жыл бұрын
Good question. The reson is to render images as if they were in game scenarios which you would never be able to do with Maya/Blender renderers. At least in the past, now that Blender has Evee that's another reason why not to use this. You could also argue, that Unreal and Unity are free and you'd be safe using those as well. The deal with Marmoset is that is like using Unreal without having to deal with all the extras of an actual game engine so you can spend more time on the art side and less time on the technical side.

@@MR3DDev But Maya has been used on such things as Pixar films. I can't see why you couldn't build and render a game scenario on Maya. Also, I personally got Vray for it, which I find looks and functions better than Arnold. Of course with cost being a factor, Maya/Vray would not be optimal if working on a commercial project, unless your company has a lot of money to spare.
