I love coming back to these interviews time and again. Such insightful questions from a host who genuinely wants to understand her guests. I admire how Simi does not pander to the stars, instead she asks deep questions imbued with such respect that it allows the guests to retain their dignity while answering their truth. This one had me in tears- tears of joy for being able to go back in time when interviews had the ability to let us into the world of these celebrities and have us reflecting about their thoughts long after the conversation is over. Truly a masterclass in interviewing. Thank you Simi.

I'm amazed at how beautiful this interview is , it's without any doubt one of the best inteviews i've ever seen , i cried many times while watching it . Dev Anand my god what a legend ! he was so classy , well spoken and inspirational , the way he thinks is just out of this world such a rare spirit , I feel so jealous of the people who got to know him and speak to him , i would've loved to have a conversation with him about life , movies ,love and also bombay at that time , he was like a philosopher .And of course you Simi ma'am you're definitely the best interviewer i've ever seen so elegant , you know how to speak to your guests with your calm and soothing voice with your beautiful and interesting questions. It's the first time I m learning about Dev Anand sir I am listening to him for the first time .. and I always have heard people talking about him like in the reality shows and people of the same industry talking and always addressing him as 'Devanand Shahab' .. and now I know why .. why he is so remembered and celebrated .. bcz he has an attitude .. for himself .. and towards life that is very positive and also different from others .. and he has his own mannerism own style that's his style .. I have enjoyed this conversation .. and I also write in my diary but from now onwards I'll try to include this way - only the main thoughts and incidents .. if I can I'll try otherwise I m very elaborative in describing my happenings .. I surely have learnt and enjoyed this .. and I m in my 20s so forgive me for not knowing about devand sir before .. and Simi mam you and this show is on the top of my favourite's list .. I am going to tell this to everyone .. I would be the happiest it today I see the same kind of talk show with you Simi mam and in front of you there can be anyone ..

Life is learning process. Look at that of 80's he says, he is still learning. The theme of his explaining life is basically a mix of intense love, passion, intelligence, creativity, religion, society, science, technology, humour, attachment and the most is your individual self confidence to deliver honestly on every front during your entire carrier with your self made principles. That's it and God bless you all the time. Khush raho.......

You need not be unhappy with the state of things now. Just be true to yourself and what you believe in. Even the time of Devanand had its share of corrupt individuals who sided with the British. Landlords and nobles from royal families who indulged in reckless affairs and wasted their time and money in foreign capitals. Those times brought forth leaders of calibre, irrespective of party affiliations, who took India to great heights.

Notice when he speaks about his love of life he takes pauses between lines ,voice is very intense .Suraiyya and Dev were very lucky to have found each other.Almost sixty years after the break up he spoke with intensity about the episode, named his daughter Devina ( name decided by the two of them while dating) So what if they did not get married ,so what if they did date longer, they stayed in eachothers heart. The fact that Suraiyya did not get married is a testimony to that and the intensity in Dev's voice and naming his daughter Devina and mourning her death in silence is a testimony.

The actors with fake looks and directors with false creativity should seriously learn from these people. Look how Simmi started the interview and the way Dev replied. How such an intelligent out of world man was attached with his mom and at the same time scared from his father is amazing. That was perhaps an old type of reasonable upbringing unlike today's one. Simi ji, an excellent and memorable interaction with Great legend of Hindi Film Industry Dev Anand Sahab. Through your show I came to know what Dev Sahab is. I have seen many films of Dev Sahab, and today I saw the greatest film of his life. On seeing the pages of his diary, I came to know the philosophy of human life in his words . His every sentence and every word teaches something related with human life . He described his life in few lines of film song " मै जिंदगी का साथ निभाता चला गया, हर फिक्र को धुवे मे उडाता चला गया...... Dont bother for anything, Go ahead and Lead the life, Forget sorrows pain, Dont store them for longer time in your brain..Disasters come and go .. Simi ji.. One must learn the art of interviewing from you, Great interview. Today Dev Sahab is not in this world ,My humble tributes to this great legend., Thanks a lot Simiji for this wonderfull show on Dev Anand Sahab. 🙏🙏🙏🙏.
