Just for the record: the trio record that René was talking about in the video is called "Canta En Español con los Panchos". It's such a beautiful record to listen to and I surely recommend anyone to listen to it wether they speak spanish or not. The music is just beautiful. . In Mexico, we call this genre "música de trios". And there're a lot of artist from this genre that are just iconic around the world and specially in latin-america. If anyone is interested, go check out ppl like "Los Tres Reyes", "Los Tres Caballeros", "Julio Jaramillo" and, or course, "Los Panchos" 🙌✨

On refinishing guitars; "Well it's very much like you're painting cars, except that it's smaller." LOL! That was a neat sentiment and also had me laugh out loud!

Hah, his story of waiting for everyone to go to bed reminds me of when we got a puppy we named 'Sheba' and she was put in a 'kennel' in the kitchen when we all went to bed. She was howlin' and moanin' and I waited a bit then got her. I did this every night for a couple weeks. Later on, when I told the folks, they all thought she was just getting used to the kennel really quickly.

If he learned everything his uncle (or was it his cousin?) knew, in one afternoon, then that guy must’ve not known very much, ha ha. There’s only so much one can learn and retain at one time. Funny that he remembers it that way.😝🤘🏻🎸🇺🇸
